Q: I want to use this to make fairy wings, will it do ok with an iron low setting? Of course cover with a towel to protect it?

Yes you absolutely can make fairy wings with this. I have no idea why the other comment says you can't. The only thing is I recommend getting an inexpensive heat gun. Using an iron on film, even with a towel, is very dicey. Also, be sure to add a transparent backing to your wings. So in the correct order you will have transparent sticky adhesive film, your wire wings, then the pearl film. The pearl film and wire will adhere a lot stronger with the sticky transparent film as a backing. Cut your wings out and then use the heat gun on LOW to seal the peak film onto both the wires and backing. Be careful, because even on low, a heat gun can get pretty hot. Good luck!

Q: Can this be used for machine emboidery

It's cellophane wrap - mostly used for gift wrapping or art

Q: Can I use this to set in resin? -similar to gold leaf flakes?

Yes it works GREAT in resin! I use alcohol ink's to give transparent colors for the resin and scutch up a bit of this to put into decorative orbs and dice. It gives a stunning reflective look that shifts depending on what hue you pigment the resin!
