Boat charger didn’t work and remote was not pairing with boat. Very disappointed for the price I paid

For the price, this is the best rc boat with the most features and speed. Brushless, self righting, 3s, RTR, double sealed hatch, foam hatch gasket, it's got it all. The remote is not terrible and the runtime isn't super long but for the price I'm exremely happy. Runtime is about 20 minutes but that doesn't leave you unsatisfied, I'd suggest buying a few extra batteries and swapping esc/battery connectors to whatever your favorite is. The remote is, well, an RTR (ready to run) remote so they didn't really splurge on that. It's got all the necessary trim and such that you'd want so that's good, the throttle just feels like it has maybe 4 or 5 zones of throttle gradation. Very easy to upgrade though! Throw in a Hobbywing Seaking, Spektrum Sr215, and a savox micro servo and you've got an outrageously capable little boat! I am beyond delighted with this purchase.

Received this boat as a retirement/ birthday gift in July. I haven’t been this impressed with a product in quite some time. I have logged over 20 out of the box, issue free hours of mostly full throttle run time with this boat. The boat has taken some abuse that frankly surprised me by not being totally destroyed. No leaks when properly assembled and locked. Nothings fallen off or broken after being slammed into the boulders at the base of my waterfall at full throttle. The only complaint I have is locating another battery with the same connectors. Your answers to others questions on this subject shows a real need for a customer relations dept.

The major issue with this boat is durability. I used it for two days, 8 minutes each time, and by the second day - the prop simply did not function. I looked at the entire and ensured everything was both screwed right and waterproof. Even to mini tools that came with the boat did not function correctly, I had a very difficult time using the tools to do anything related to checking the mechanical items. Very, very disappointed. Update #2. After spending about an hour checking the boat again, I put in back in the water. Before doing so, I tightened EVERYTHING. True to form, the boat worked for about 30 seconds, then the metal draft shaft and prop came off and sunk to the bottom of the lake. If I save one person from this product, at least my time would not be completely wasted. If I could give this negative stars, I would.

Positive - goes really fast. Haven't measured it, but it seems to really take off. Also easy to right itself if it gets turned upside down. Decent range of the remote. Warns when the batter is low so you can return it to you. Negative - short battery life. It says 8 minutes. Maybe. Seems shorter. Only comes with 1 battery. Probably good thing because it gets water in the hull each use. So far doesn't seem to be a problem, but needs to dry out between uses. Adding some silicone lube to the gasket seems to help keep the inside mostly dry. The reverse is nearly useless; it doesn't really backup just stirs up a bunch of water around the boat. Can't charge the battery while it is in the boat and the connector is somewhat difficult to disconnect. Also, there is no switch on the boat so if the battery is installed it will drain it in a few hours even if not in use. The instructions have some of the worst translation from Chinese that you will find. The tools that come with it are horrible quality and don't seem to have any use on this product. Overall - a lot of fun, just don't expect to use it all day and don't expect it to last very long. There are probably cheaper options that are just as useful.
