Not as pictured
The rings I received are not the same as whats pictured. They are flat with only a slight ridge instead of being indented like other silicone rings I see listed here on Amazon.

These 3D silicone seals are my new standard for mason jar storage
County Line's gaskets keep food in jars drier for longer than regular silicone gaskets. That is why they're my new standard.I've tried many different types of silicone seals for mason jars and they all have different issues. One big issue I have is that some of them absorb salt and become warped--specifically salt makes them expand in diameter. These County Line Kitchen 3d gaskets don't seem to have this issue, probably because they are true platinum cured silicone or have been designed to resist salt; or their shape itself causes them to not expand in diameter as the inner lip provides tension to help them retain their shape.I bet I'm the first person to talk about salt issue this here in these comments. I'm going to be running dehydrator experiments on the warped other company gaskets to see if the salt influence can be reversed (hypothesis being that salt attracts water and has hydrated the gaskets, so maybe dehydration will reverse it??)I also want to note that these gaskets work with Trellis & Co stainless steel non canning storage jar lids (this being the 'iphone' of mason jar aftermarket accessories). I haven't tried County Line's lids yet, but that is on my list since Trellis and Co is now much more expensive due to their popularity.County Line should be the standard for the gaskets, and because of the outstanding quality I'm going to be trying more of their items.

USELESS
All my jars leaked worse with these seals than without. I was using the white plastic Ball lids alone. They worked pretty good but I decided to buy these silicone seals for "insurance".I tested them by putting water in several jars, putting on the seals, and last, screwing on the white plastic Ball lids. Then I shook them. They all leaked worse with the seals than without them.I would return them but it's not worth printing out the label, boxing them up and driving to the UPS store.

Perfect solution to imperfect sealing!
This product is working perfectly for us! We use mason jars primarily for vacuum packing freeze dried food as well as vacuum storage of refrigerated food. Sometimes their are slight imperfections in the jar rims or the seals of the lids that show up later as failed seals and sometimes food loss. So far the rings have solved these problems to perfection. We especially like for our daily use refrigerator jars and counter storage. An excellent product we give two high thumbs up with gold stars on each finger two!
