Truly a Treasure to Travel Computing Needs
Truly a Treasure = Expected a cheep contraption, but impressed by its 7 year old technology for price. Medium speed & only 64K memory, but with USB SD Card Adaptor up to a Terabyte, it is a Travel Treasure. Love the MS “CLOUD” storage accessibility to find all necessary files. You should purchase the Blue Tooth Mouse (Keyboard Optional) to navigate this small machine. It looks like new & fully functional to my business needs.

Be Careful
I really like this little computer. It's a little on the slow side by today's standards but remember it's 7 year-old technology but given the price and the features of this compared to a tablet, plus the fact that it runs Windows it's really a great piece of equipment. Don't get hung up on the small hard drive. It has a mini SD memory card slot hidden behind the stand so you can add up to 1 TB of additional memory. I bought a docking station for mine which plugs into the existing ports on the computer and adds to the utility with extra USB ports etc. The computer also has bluetooth connectivity so you can add a bluetooth mouse or pen.The reason for giving it one star is that in spite of the claim that it has been fully checked out and certified, mine had a a problem charging. I had identified the problem as the charger and I contacted the seller and they sent a replacement right away. Unfortunately, that was only the part of the problem. the other part was in the charging port on the computer. To make a long story short, one of the wires inside the charging port was bent and has now broken off, making connection to power impossible. And it's now beyond the 3 month warranty so there is no coverage.I thought this would be a simple repair but there are no simply repairs with this computer. To do anything inside, (even replace the battery) the computer screen must be removed to gain access. It's virtually impossible to remove the screen without breaking it and the cost of a replacement screen is more than the computer is worth.I'm disappointed that after only a few months my computer is useless. If you're going to buy one of these, it's well worth your while to get the additional warranty.

A little slow but still works great
This product is exactly as advertised. My 5 stars is because of the customer service. I had an issue with the first one I got. Within days I had a replacement. The person who helped me did and amazing job. The replacement is perfect for what I need it for.

External condition was good.
It appears to look/function fine. My issue is not with the product I received. It is that this is second tablet that I have ordered in the last month from Amazon Renewed Store, and both times I have not received what I ordered, (at least per Amazons description). Very Disappointing

Ultra Slim Portable Touchscreen Computer Tablet
I was in the market for a new piece of tech because my laptop died. In my opinion having an Android Tablet has a few advantages. Familiarity with Apps on my cellphone. But it's just a larger phone. After doing a lot of research I bought the Surface 3 (S3) mainly because it has an amazingly awesome Full 10.3 inch Hi-Def 1920x1260 screen. The performance of my S3 works equally as great as old laptop that died and my work/home computer. The icons are a bit small but using a Bluetooth mouse solves that challenge.Already owned two micro Bluetooth mice & two Bluetooth keyboards. All four were really easy to pair and they all work perfectly with my S3. Now I have a choice when I travel or use at home. If didn't own extra devices then I would buy the S3 keyboard & pen.More Good News!!!No need to download a bunch of Apps. My Android 9 cellphone has a 6 inch screen. So getting a new 8-12 inch Android Tablet makes no sense.I can directly go to ALL my Favorite websites; Pandora, VUDU.com, CBS.com, ABC.com, NBC.com, Prime Video, NETFLIX, HULU/Paramount and more. It's awesome the S3 uses the same websites as my work/home computer.Windows 10 works great. I have plenty of Hard Drive Storage. But I also bought a micro 128Gb card for extra storage. My old 2Tb Portable drive easily plugs into the USB on the S3. Plug & Play, so I still enjoy movies and music when I'm on the go. No need to download a bunch of App's. Not a big gamer so can't comment about that experience.Learned a new way to charge the battery of my S3. First insert Micro-USB into S3 and THEN plug the charger into electrical outlet. The sequence is different but not a deal breaker.Bought two cases Ultra Slim Case/Stand -vs- Padded Sleeve, to determine which one I wanted to keep. Actually kept both.I spent less than $300 for my S3, two cases and one 128Gb storage card.

Don't buy
I bought for my son in July when schools were closed. Now his tablet is locked by Georgia school system claiming that tablet is stolen. I called the school system and they confirm that there are 200 tablets missing and they froze the tablet with all the data. The school system want their tablet back. They are sending me the shipping label to send the tablet back to them. They will however unlock the tablet for 24 hrs to backup my data. I warn you before you buy pls confirm that it's not stolen

I would have liked it, but it died before I could.
I needed an inexpensive Windows tablet and this Surface 3 fit the bill. Great display, light, and responsive enough for my purpose. Unfortunately, the battery arrived with 36% charge, and would not accept more from the external charger. There was enough power to set up the machine, fully update Windows, and run diagnostics, including replacing the battery driver, to no avail. The power brick and cable seemed to be working. After power cycling it a few times, the tablet would accept power for a few seconds, then go back to draining the battery. When the system finally shut down from a low battery, I packed it back up to return it.Used gear is a roll of the dice, but this one left Amazon with an obvious defect. Caveat emptor.
