Comfortable for couple of hours but the Cooling gel is not what you expect
It's Comfortable but the cooling gel actually works for 5 mins and after that, it starts heating up the whole cup, I’m guessing it’s because the cooling gel on the inside is the reason for it.Edit: On the Comfort side of things, lately I have noticed an excruciating pain in both my ears after continuous use without taking it off for more than 2-3 hours

Promising but personal disappointment
Nice packaging and branding. Appreciated the different styles for a flair of personality.I have had a Rig 800 LX for 3 years now, headset is great but the ear cushions were sweaty and falling apart. I was excited when I found these and loved the long list of compatible headsets (mine wasn't officially listed but the Rig 800HS was so I took a chance). The cooling gel was very attractive, as I typically get a very hot head/ears and play for long sessions. Also I respected the up front admission of A) most ear cushions are pretty comfy and B) Attaching them can be a little frustrating. In terms of opinions of the actual product, they are a bit thicker than the official ones and actually have been causing uncomfortable pressure and small headaches. Additionally, I noticed I could hear myself more than usual which feels a bit weird, but is likely resultant from more breathable design and I'm sure I'll get used to it. Finally, and most unfortunately, the "cooling" gel is very minimal and more subtle than expected. In conclusion, good quality and respectable company, but personally disappointing for the price and features advertised. Will keep these (since I was in dire need of replacements and there aren't many options) but probably wouldn't buy again.

A bit of a letdown
I had high hopes for these but I’m afraid to say that unfortunately I didn’t like them. The fit wasn’t great to start with and the cooling gel didn’t cool. If anything they got warm enough to give you slightly sweaty ears. On top of that they weren’t particularly comfortable either. Overall they seemed slightly too big for the headphones and the memory foam construction lacked structure and lost shape.I’ve replaced the so called upgrades with the original ear cups which at least fit properly and don’t give you sweaty ears.I’ve now tried replacement ear cups from two of the main sellers available on Amazon and found both products didn’t live up to expectations. Both claimed to offer a cooling effect and superior comfort which when put to the test they both failed to deliver. At least this experience has made me appreciate the quality stock ear cups that come with the Steelseries Arctus 9 X headphones. If they ever fall apart on me I’ll just replace them with officialcups directly from Steelseries.I wouldn’t recommend buying any replacements that claim to actively cool your ears especially hybrids because they don’t work. The poor fit is probably down to the wide range of models they are supposed to fit. By trying to fit so many types they have had to compromise fit in order to cover the many variations They’ll never fit as well as the official ones that have been made specially for Steelseries headphones. It’s made me appreciate just how good the standard ones are. Luckily for me the returns process is pretty straightforward. I’ll stick with the official ones from now on.

Don't properly fit hyper cloud II's
They're an absolute pain to fit to hyper cloud II because the interior lip on the back of the pad is so thick it makes it near impossible to lip it over. They are tragic at noise leakage and at blocking noise out, they effectively make closed back headphones open back. But they are really really comfy, so it's upto you, hate yourself for 15 minutes and leak more sound 90s Walkman but get comfy headphones, or just don't bother 😂.Also of you have a big head they're so thick on the padding itself it causes greater pressure on your head.

Really excellent quality and comfortable product, the cooling gel really works
I bought these to replace my old cushions on a gaming headset (HyperX Cloud II) and they are so worth the money, they are more comfortable, less pressure on my head, relatively easy to get them to fit on once you view the video instructions on the website. The big wow factor is the cooling gel, I was skeptical so much so that I bought ordinary ones and the cooling ones and the gel works amazingly, they are always cool at first when you put them on but they never get really hot like the previous cushions did, they are just always comfortable to wear.Cant recommend these enough, great quality really good and do exactly what they say they will.

These are poorly designed, the gel pad slipped making them uncomfortable.
That photo is after using them for less than a month.Poorly designed (cooling gel is a gimmick)Poor quality material (low-density memory foam, stretching fabric).Poorly made (they won't last)Poor value for money. After these, I went all out with Sheepskin Lether from another company and those are wonderful, well worth the extra money. I won't make the same mistake again.
