Do not skip a word!
About 12 pages in I was ordering two more copies - one for my best friend and one for the girl I love. I'm sending them their copies as soon as they come in because they both need this book as much as I needed it - and I did not know I needed it. When I bought the book, it was on accident and I'm so glad I decided to read it and not send it back. I don't know why the author apologizes that it may disappoint, because it doesn't at all. It's so real, and raw, and full of life and things you can agree with. Things you need to read, really read, so you can remember what to hold on to and what to let go of and everything in the murky waters in between. If I could give it 6 stars I would, but buying a few extra copies is the same thing right?

I remember writing this in December of 2014 on one of Iain Thomas' blog posts: 'I hope you publish your newest book soon Iain. Intentional dissonance soothed my soul through some of the hardest times of my life. These past few days I've had to watch my beautiful grandma with whom I love more than anyone in the world, die of cancer. All her very best pieces were stripped away in the process. I'm hoping your new book will remind my heart to keep beating.'All I can say is whether or not that was intentional, Iain reminded my heart to keep beating. He also reminded me that it's okay to be happy.Thank you Iain 💙
