Excellent replacement for plastic Kleen Kanteen top

Works like it's supposed to. Looks nice with the bamboo. Wire handle is good and sturdy. Makes for opening a partially evacuated bottle (filled with hot liquid and then chilled) much easier

Less Plastic is better. Doesn’t Leak
Got this on an effort to reduce plastic in my diet. It’s easy to clean, and the size it perfect to fit the Kleen Kanteen bottles. It’s very light and doesn’t add much weight to the bottle. I like the stainless steel color. Haven’t noticed any smells. Functions as intended. Another great Klean Kanteen product.

Plastic-free but a little heavy
I love that this top allows me to have a plastic free water bottle. The original top that came with my Klean Kanteen bottle was black plastic and with the recent study that found carcinogens in over 80% of the black plastic tested, I wanted to find a new top without having to get rid of the bottle altogether. I also really like the way the loop folds to make the top lower profile when the loop isn't in use.The only downside to this top is it is heavier than the original hollow plastic one and seems a bit overpriced. I would have loved for one without the bamboo inlay, that was just all stainless steel, but the all-metal one they make has been sold out everywhere and also doesn't have a loop big enough to hold with a finger unless you add a carabiner or something similar. The other factor that contributes to me knocking a full star off is that the bamboo isn’t very smooth and little fibers keep getting stuck to it. I'm not sure if this will be an ongoing issue, but it seems like a little sanding might fix it if it becomes a nuisance. Overall a nice upgrade for a water bottle that I otherwise love!

perfect top
love how easy this opens and closes. Doesn't get stuck. And the handle is slightly curved, feels very nice to hold and carry. I did sand the bamboo a bit, I found it a bit too rough. But thats a personal thing and I love perfect bamboo grain shine :)

Good quality cap for kids bottles
I like this cap because it matches the 12 oz bottles really well. I use it in place of the original plastic cap it came with as my daughter wants to chew the plastic. So this is a much better option.

Prefer Stainless Steel over plastic
I bought this for the stainless steel interior, however, wished that cap was dishwasher safe, but certainly not a deal breaker.
