I use this magnets on my engine oil filters to help the filter catch ferrous material under 20 micros ( most mother engine filter won't filter anything under 20 micros). The magnets are very strong and you can't beat the price.

These magnets are very strong for the size.

I use them to hold small tools specific to each machine in my workshop, and the same in the kitchen. Must be careful: they can break (shatter) and if you try pulling them apart insted of sliding one off (like choosing from a deck of cards on the table) you Will snap your finger. Keep them away from each other as they have a tendency to fly towards each other (especially a stack of them.) You will be blown away by how useful they can be!

I had no idea magnets would break. When other reviewers commented on them breaking, I wondered what are they doing with them! Well, these guys are powerful! I was putting 2 together and one flew out of my hand, struck the other and they both broke. Trying to slide them apart, a bar flipped around and pinched my finger. Think of slamming a finger with a hammer, only worse. I was bleeding all over, from a magnet! I was totally shocked. I placed one several inches away from another and it flew across the table. I wanted strong magnets, I got them - now, can anyone tell me how to control them! The seller says not to use them broken - well half of mine have broken.
