I like it so far
This is a cleansing oil, so you are supposed to apply it on dry skin, let it dissolve anything that is dissolvable in oil, and then rinse it. When water hits it, it lathers a bit, and when you rinse it washes all the oils away. I have oily skin so the last part is especially nice. It does leave my skin clean and smooth, not flaky. No oily patches are being left behind as it happens with other cleansers. But it also does not overdry my skin, there is no tightness or anything of the sort. So far I like the cleanser very much

Gentle formulation and makes skin feel so soft
Before I came across this product, I was using Ponds cold cream makeup remover for years and years. It, too, is oily, but is very creamy which I liked to put a bit more hydration to my skin. I was perfectly content. But now, after using this product, I have been converted! I love how gentle it is to clean out the makeup gunk. I don't usually wear much makeup anymore, usually just the odd CC cream and eyebrow liner. But I put a full face on to test this product and it did the job wonderfully. I did enjoy massaging my face with this product because it felt like my face was getting soft from using it. I was afraid I'd break out at first, because it is a cleansing oil, but my face was fine. It looked hydrated right after wiping the makeup off with a nice clean glow. I do typically double but apparently, you don't have to with this product. I'd only try that on my regular days when the only thing I have on is tinted sunscreen... but that's just me. :) If you haven't tried Korean beauty products before, this line of gentle cleansers might be a good place to start.

It's Ok; Doesn't Cut It
Compared to several other balms and oil washes, I'm sad to say this ACWELL pH Balanced Watery Cleansing Oil just doesn't cut it. It's ok - meaning it doesn't cause me any irritation, excessive dryness, or breakouts, but this oil wash doesn't do what it is supposed to do which is disrupt the SPF and makeup on my face. I'm stuck having to follow up with another makeup remover. Ideally, you use an oil wash in the PM to help break down the aforementioned products to make cleansing more efficient. Water-based cleansers are not robust enough vs. oil washes. Hence why it is recommended you double cleanse. Step one: apply an oil balm or oil wash like this first onto a dry face. They're designed to emulsify (turn milky) and rinse off easily when in contact with warm water. Step two: use your favorite water-based wash to remove any lingering residue and follow up with your regular skincare. This one is mild with excellent spreadability and doesn't have an overpoweringly unpleasant odor, but it just doesn't work as well as others I've tried in the same price point. Not a huge fan of the essential ingredients (like sage and peppermint). Thankfully, it hasn't caused any irritation, but these extracts are unnecessary and potentially irritating for those with sensitive skin, so be aware.

More liquid than oil - does irritate eye of using to wipe off eyeliner
This review is for: ACWELL pH Balancing Watery Cleansing Oil Facial Cleanser 6.76 fl.oz. - Makeup Cleansing Water Oil for Sensitive Skin, Lightweight Watery Oil Formula, Green Tea Water and Tea Tree Leaf Extract, Gentle Blackhead CleanserThis is not my favorite at all as the cleanser is more liquid than oil consistency and when pumped out it goes everywhere. The pump top is convenient to open and close. The slightly more acidic pH makes it irritating to the eye in case you get some of it in there. It does look at removing eyeliner that’s not waterproof but you gotta be careful with your eyes.Washing my face felt gentle with it and it wasn’t overwhelmingly drying. The scent by itself of you smell it from the bottle is not pleasant but on the small amount you use to wash your face, it’s tolerable for sure.Bottom line, there’s definitely better face washes out there.

It removed my heavy makeup very well
I usually go for foam cleansers , but I like to try new things so I got this.I don’t wear makeup every day, but when I do , I load it on , smoky eyes , fake lashes ~ the whole nine !I really didn’t think this watery cleanser would remove it , and somehow it did.It wasn’t overly greasy and it doesn’t have a smell to it. It made my skin feel refreshed and clean, I was able to skip my toner and just put on my night moisturizer.. overall I liked it.However, I like a nice smell to my cleanser , so I removed a star for that , if you don’t want any smell in your cleanser, then you will like this one , it might be your 5 star cleanser , it is a nice looking bottle with a pump , it’s decent, it’s not top of the line stuff but it’s fine for the price. Would I buy it again, probably not..

Very Smooth but scented
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been really liking Acwell lately but cleanser I’mNot entirely sure yet. It feels great and has more of a gel/liquid consistency as opposed to an oil.I use a lot of oil cleansers because I wear make up so this product definitely feels different. It has a cool calming effect which nice after wash. It does a have a smell. This was unexpected because some of the other products I used were unscented.Overall, still a nice cleanser.

I don't like the smell, it cleans
This cleansing oil has a watery consistency but once you get used to that it gets into every nook and cranny and cleansing. Even though everything on the bottle is written in another language, I remember the listing had instructions so I used that for reference. I applied the cleansing oil on dry to my dry face and rubbed for about a minute before applying water and a sensitive facial cleanser. I usually use a cotton pad with micellular water is make sure it's clean and the cotton pad was clean. My only negative point is that the smell wasn't a fragrance but a chemical smell and I don't love it.All in all, I think this oil is a worthy addition to my skincare routine.
