Great Phone Brand New & Less $ Than Some Used
Okay I'm not really up to date with phones anymore, I used to be I've had every single LG Stylo since the beginning and every LG phone since also HTC when they were still around but I needed something better work wise and this caught my attention..So far it was a pain to get my number transferred at first because my previous carrier didn't want me to go but that's not there call but after about 12hrs and few calls to my new carrier alls well that ends well...phone is extremely FAST in Wifi 6E if you have compatible internet for that but the 5G is also blazing FAST Qualcomm Snapdragons 888 cpu is excellent the screens are phenomenal and watching movies or videos or YouTube etc doesn't get any better than on a Z Fold 3 5G I'm very happy and satisfied with my purchase but it does not work with BOOST so if you buy expect to change carriers yes you can keep your # and all that good stuff and it also doesn't come with the adapter for charging it comes with a USB C male to USB C male you have to purchase an adapter separately which you can Samsung official one for $15 but that's not the point you pay almost 1K for a phone and no adapter I'm old school I remember when phones came with earphones and the works but not anymore and there is no audio jack so expect to use bluetooth but I already have so much bluetooth devices it's all good the 120Hz refresh rate is real but you can put it to 60Hz to save battery you don't notice the difference unless gaming or movies than you do but overall a great phone, I ordered the Green but it's so dark it looks black so whatever no big deal there. It's dual Sim compatible meaning you can two different numbers one on the regular slot Sim and one on the Esim which is cool but it has a ton of features and I'm already running A13 so it's worth the money you can feel the quality it's definitely not a CHEAPO PHONE which I usually buy but I was like you know what I want a premium phone this time and I don't upgrade but every 5-8 years anyway sometimes longer but check it out!

Honestly the most convenient phone I've ever owned.
I'll start by saying that I bought this phone when it was half off and at that price it's worth every penny. The hinge means that you always have a solid grip and know whether you're holding it right side up. It's easy to grip as well and the narrow outside screen means that you can easily use it with one hand for quick convenience. I have thick thumbs and bad eyesight so being able to open it into a tablet is a god send for typing accuracy and enjoying videos, ect. I listen to music, watch videos, as well as use the camera consistently for work and by the time I get home after maybe 12 hours it still has around 50% battery life. It has all the features you'd expect from a high end Samsung phone and it's lightning fast. It feels solid although if you're rough with opening and closing it then the inside screen will wear out pretty fast. Honestly the only cons I can think of is that the inside screen protector is garbage. It starts to peel up and the gap from the hinge design allows dust/lint to fall down and stick behind it wile it's closed. (fixed in the newest version) At full price it's also expensive. Personally I think you get the best of both worlds with this phone. More screen space then the biggest phones on the market wile also fitting in your pocket comfortably and with no compromise of specs.

Incredible experience.
I'm not an Android guy, the last Android phone I had was running 4.0, since I've used iPhones over the years. Let me tell you, with the flexibility of the phone, not just literally, but systematically, the amount of choice and customization that can be attained by this device is simply incredible. I've never ever seen another phone that allows you to play a YouTube video in a panel, then have a stock trading app, and a news feed in two side by side panels... ALL at the same time on a screen that is more than generous with space. Then, simply close the screen, and you have a completely fresh front phone experience to make calls and use as a normal phone for GPS, Music stream, etc. All the whole your unfolded experience still persists when you're ready to sit back down and return to your multiplane experience. Battery life is excellent, as with most phones, you need to debloat the software. It takes 10 minutes, and there are plenty of YT videos just for this phone to do it. With the tweaks and cleanup, you should expect at least 8 hours of screen on time. That said, I've never charged over 85% To preserve the battery, and never fully discharged the battery yet. So maybe closer to 10 hours if youre willing to go all out. Quite impressive, given the fact that like 90% of the phone is screens. Never have I ever had this level of flexibility and utility from a portable device. It's made almost all my other devices including my laptop, essentially unused over the last week's. Cameras are the best I've personally ever had in a smartphone, and you have a camera for each level of zoom. Fisheye, normal scene camera, then more of a close up selfie/macroesque camera. Software can zoom through all the lenses automatically. It's VERY cool. I see people complaining about the camera as it's not the one in the S21, I'd love to see that as much as anyone, but unless you're solely getting this for the camera, it's actually pretty great. I've attached a few photos I've taken to this review. Very, very impressed. Obviously, the phone isn't cheap, but I'm a firm believer that the experience of this phone is actually worth FAR more than $1,700 if you can use it and adapt it to what you want.

Poor durability, poor support
After 2.5 years of ownership, the following has happened 1.) The wifi won't turn on 2.) The phone turns off when I unfold 3.) Took it to an official Samsung Customer Support in Rio and they say it will be $600+ to just break the screen and 'look under the hood': poor design 4.) Customer Support in Rio says the parts are different between US and Brazil and they will not attempt to fix. Upon further investigation, the part at issue is the hinge, which is the same in all countries, but they refused to support. So overall poor support and support is part of the product! 5.) Overall hardware design to shut down the phone and disable wifi when the hinge needs repair is ridiculous 6.) Keypad interface: screen is to narrow. As a result, constant typos

I honestly love this phone but it’s very fragile
I got this phone about six months ago and I absolutely loved it. I was looking for a phone with a large screen and this was perfect. It was so easy to type on the larger keyboard and I would spend multiple hours writing essays and stories on Microsoft word. This phone is preinstalled with a screen protector on the internal folded screen. About a month and a half into using the phone, the protector on the screen started to lift at the crease. I tried saving the protector by pressing it on to the screen until the adhesive reattached. This fix usually only lasted a few hours or days until the protector would re-separate itself at the fold. When I looked online for a more effective solution, I saw multiple videos of people having the same problem. They explained that when the screen protector separates, air bubbles can get trapped between the protector and the screen, that trapped air puts pressure on the crease and can ruin the pixels underneath it. After seeing a few videos of people who had a solid black row of dead pixels on the hinge of their phone, I concluded that my best option was to remove the screen protector entirely. A month after that, I noticed that about 4 pixels on the bottom right corner of my internal screen were stuck. They were very small, but I could see one pixel stuck on green, one stuck on blue, one stuck on red, and one that was completely black. I restarted my phone several times, and tried finding solutions to fix it online, but nothing worked. Like I said, the problem area was very small, and each stuck pixel was probably no larger than the tip of a safety pin. Since I never found a way to fix it, after about a week, I didn’t notice it anymore. My last issue with this phone occurred earlier today. I have a cat that gently chews on things when she wants my attention. If I’m reading, she’ll chew the book cover, if I’m typing, she chews my keyboard, if I’m sleeping, she chews my metal bed frame. Today, when I was using my phone, she gently chewed its upper right corner. The screen flashed as if it was taking a picture then the whole thing turned a weird beige color. I pressed the power button a few times but nothing changed. The pixels that had been stuck, turned a dark brown color. I restarted the phone several times, but instead of beige, when it started, the whole screen was black. The inner display does not work at all, when I press the power button, a horizontal sliver of pixels on the right side of the screen flash, but that’s it. The external display is not damaged at all. I am writing this review from an old phone I used to use. I absolutely loved my Fold 3, it was so much more convenient than my tiny iPhone. This wasn’t even the first Fold 3 I owned, last year, I bought the exact same phone, and the speakers stopped working after about 3 months. Rather than getting my third version of this phone, I think I’m going to choose a different model. This has been such an odd experience for me. I am 26 years old and I have NEVER broken a phone before, I’ve never even cracked a screen. I still have a couple old flip phones from back in middle school that are still in perfect condition. Having 2 broken phones within a 12 month period is out of the ordinary. This phone is absolutely amazing, but it is so fragile, it’s nearly impossible not to damage it.

I love this thing
This has an amazing screen that is actually fun to look at. I'm getting older, and I like larger screens now, and you can't get much bigger than this for a phone. Folded, it's double thick (well, duh) and it's skinnier than a regular phone - the dimensions are a little weird for a regular phone. I know that the Fold 3 doesn't get great reviews for the camera, but it's just fine for regular people. It's certainly better than my first digital camera (1.6 megapixels!) so I'm good with it. That's one of the nice things about being old - you don't take certain things for granted. This takes a bit of getting used to when you're texting or holding it open and playing with it. It is pretty awkward at first, but after a few months, I'm used to it. The phone part works just fine. I'm not a fan of talking on the phone, but sound is fine and I haven't had any complaints from others with the sound on their end. I personally prefer to use my phone for playing games and streaming videos, and the screen is great for that. Not all apps know how to deal with the double screen. Some of them know that if you fold the phone halfway that they should shift the screen up to the top. Netflix seems to have a problem, but it's not bad. Youtube knows how to handle it. There wasn't a real manual included, however there is a great one online that I downloaded from the Samsung site. I'm old - I like actual manuals. The fingerprint sensor seems like it's in a weird spot (on the side) but it has worked well so far. I'm careful opening the screen because I don't know how well it will hold up, but it's fine so far. I just really love this thing. Which is a bummer because it's expensive and I don't know if I can go back to a regular phone now. Hopefully it will last a couple of years.

Beautiful - But <2 Years later it's done
I have nothing but amazing things to say about this phone. I had a Fold 1 I bought used from Amazon for a steal and it was an amazing experience. It's no different for the fold 3 and all of the improvements were welcomed. I used this phone every single day. I am a delivery driver so I sweat a lot in the Florida heat and it might be the reason this phone is having issues for me now. Unfortunately it doesn't charge sometimes. I have to flip a USB C cable over. (Changing cables or charger doesn't help). It now charges slowly. My phone has a super rare T-Mobile issue where 5g can't connect well and call quality struggles to stay connected. There is a software patch and I installed It but now my battery drains rapidly. Coupled with charging issues. My Fold 3 is done. I can't afford to miss any more calls. So I now have to look into switching to the S21 Ultra since there's excellent deals on Amazon. I love my Fold 3. I'm so happy the screen didn't crack. And I never had charging issues. But I'm sad that I can't use it for it's most basic phone features anymore. I can't trade it in either because it's considered damaged now. My advice? If you sweat a lot at your job. Please use a USB c cover and charge wirelessly. Don't risk it like me.

Awesome phone!
For the price I was REALLY hesitant about buying this phone but since LG had dropped out of the phone development business and my G8 ThinQ had come to the end of it's update life it was time to move on. I had seen and read a number of reviews on the Z fold3 so I decided to take a chance with a Samsung product again, my first since the Galaxy 3. I was a bit put off with no microsd slot or earphone jack but it seems to be the way all phone manufacturers are headed. My overall experience has been excellent in the time I've had the phone. 512 gigs has so far been sufficient for the optional things I like to carry in my phone. Music, movies and pictures. Sound is very good if you can use LDAC from your Bluetooth receivers. If you're in need of a new phone and can afford the investment take a look at the Samsung Z Fold3. Edit: I just received a new Z fold S Pen. I would highly recommend it. The pen opens a whole new selection of things you can do with the phone and IMHO it's well worth the price.
