Q: What is the compression offered by these socks?

All the answers saying 20-30mmhg appear to be incorrect. The 5th picture down on every one of the pairs say 15-20mmhg not 20-30mmhg. These are really cute socks, but I have a Drs order for the higher compression (20-30 mmhg) which is why I won't be purchasing these.

Q: is latex a part of the materials used to produce this produc?t

To the point I don't know, seems nobody knows but the Mfg. and they are mute on the subject, also googling multiple links was of no avail. From experience usually latex is listed if contained as it is an allergen. They don't have that latex/rubber smell...No assumptions just observation "K". If you have a latex sensitivity and have had a reaction please share. As to why I answered the question it is because I received an email from Amazon soliciting a response, just a courtesy to respond with what I know or don't.

Q: adviseable to wash these first before using them the first time??

I did not wash mine first. However after wearing and washing them regularly I can tell you the elasticity is still strong, some have relaxed a bit but overall they hold up well.

Q: How do I get right size?

my calf is 15 1/2" in diameter. what size sock do i need. my shoe size is 12?
