My dogs absolutely love this! I crumble some on top of their food each time. Such a great, natural source of protein that is easy to give with each meal. I love the natural ingredients and the price is good for the amount you get.

I purchased this product 9/2/24 and opened it 10/17/24 (the amazon return window ended 10/10/24). I have purchased this many times before for several years and never had any problems. This time the treats looked shriveled and had a yellow tint (rather than looking beige). Also, as soon as I opened the container, there was a horrible bad cardboard smell (likely there was a defect in the seal of the container). Since this is an expensive product that usually lasts my dog 9 months and I can no longer use this (and the Amazon return window closed), I filled out a form on the company's website voicing my concern. My concern was completely disregarded, and I was told the smell and color were due to a higher fat content in this batch and since it was not past the expiration date, I could feed them to my dog. It was not a difference in odor due to fat content...it was a horrible odor due to a likely packaging defect, and therefore the expiration date was irrelevant because the product had not been properly sealed. I responded to let them know and was completely ignored this time. I will not be buying this product again. I understand that mistakes happen, but take responsibility for those mistakes..don't just brush them off. Horrible customer service.

I bought these for my little dog who is very picky about what she eats. I like the fact that they are 100% chicken breast and totally USA sourced and packaged. But even more than that, my picky little dog loves this treat! The pieces vary in size from about thumb size to crumbs, but my dog will lick all the crumbs out of her bowl to get every piece. But what a pleasant surprise that one of my cats likes these treats more than the dog! Now if I feed one, I have to give the other treats too or they snatch it from each other. I am very happy with this product. Update: I just ordered another container if the freeze dried chicken, and opened it today. The first thing I noticed was the dark brown color, then a weird chemical smell. The chicken was overly dry and I will not feed it to my dog or cats-it is going into the trash. I don't know what happened to Stewart's quality control, but this totally unacceptable. Buyer beware.

This chicken breast, which I bought as treats for my two dogs, was the first and only thing I could get my 14-year-old cat to eat when she was deathly ill and battling a serious UTI. She was on oral antibiotics for a month and didn't eat for almost as long, about a week before she started the meds and two-plus weeks after. I tried everything: tuna, Churu, turkey, ham, milk, CatMilk, cheese, you name it. She walked away from everything except these treats, which I tore into tinier pieces. She eats a little dish of these every day now, and her appetite has expanded to include her chicken Temptations. I honestly think my kitty would have wasted away if not for this chicken. I am now subscribing and will feed her what she wants for as long as she wants! Thank you, Stewart's! SIDE NOTE: Beef livers are also excellent for dogs. However, I had a horrible experience with my last order of the salmon product, which was more skin than fish and very poor quality. I don't recommend it AT ALL,

Our 12 year old toy poodle won't each much of "real dinner", but bring these out and he's pirouetting like a ballerina!

Unfortunately both times I ordered this the contents had very few chunks and most was just dust and slivers. Not worth the money.
