Conair Hot Roller Super Clips, Black, 10 Count

I ordered these clips as a replacement for the j clips that came with my conair roller set... my hair is long, and thick, so these had even more trouble holding than the j clips do in my hair. I can see these working well for someone with medium or shorter hair... or even long hair, as long as you don't intend to roll all the way up to your scalp like I like to. ...when long hair rolled to the scalp, it becomes so thick, that is when these have trouble holding. I will keep, because I tend to cut my hair often, and then regrow it...so eventually these will come in handy.

I love these roller clips. Not only do they hold tight for hot rollers I repurposed them to hold up a shower curtain. Came in really handy since I’m doing a bathroom remodel.

So after reading some of the reviews I did not know what to expect but I was so tired of the wires falling out or flying across the room and having to hold my head still (when a wire actually stayed in halfway) for the time I needed. I do not have the Conair rollers but when I got these had to try right away. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!! My hair is super thick and this just makes me so happy that I want to use my hot rollers again! Thank-you for this product!!!!!

I bought these clips to replace the ones I inadvertently let my daughter-in-law take with her. I'm just replacing them with the same clips. I absolutely love them!! They grip my biggest curlers, 2", and hold them in place no matter what I'm doing. I would recommend these to anyone wanting to try something other than pins.

I have an ancient 12-piece set of the jumbo (1 1/2") and super jumbo (2") Conair rollers. I lost the clips so I got these to replace them. I also wanted to order a second set of rollers but was leery of the poor reviews about the clips. I am Korean with waist length hair with layers in the front from about my collarbone down. I have a LOT of thick Asian hair. These worked just fine with the rollers and my hair - the rollers did not budge. I was careful not to overstuff the rollers and to make sure I set the clips so the top part was facing up from the roller not hanging down off of it (which is the opposite of how I uses the metal u-shaped clips that originally came with this set - those I like to use poking up, not down). My hair is pretty porous so I do not leave them in very long. They did leave a slight crimp if they were not set close to the head or completely wrapped arond the roller and I could see how they could easily get tangled in finer hair. So maybe if you have smaller rollers and/or very fine hair hair you might be happier with traditional u-shaped clips. I docked one star because they seem a little flimsy and I think $11 is a little steep for the what you get. I am about to order a second set of rollers and a second set of clips (remember I have a set of 12 rollers and these come in a set of 10) - a little overpriced but still cheaper than a single professional blowout. Overall I was pleased with the purchase.

These do the trick better than the pins that came with the rollers. Getting them in place properly so that the rollers don't come loose takes some practice. Bummer that there are only 10 in the package since there are 12 rollers in the set they're meant to go with. Also, it would be nice if they came with some kind of case or bag to store them in.
