Fixed my leaks and easy to install
I had leaks, and now I don't. It did just what it claims. It was easy to install and fixed my problem. It has been installed for several months and still no issues.I would say the quality is good.

It’s true! it’s true!
Fel- Pro is usually the good stuff. But if you read the reviews you notice people having problems with the spark plug hole seals being too tight. This was the case for me. 4 of the 6 seals ripped during installation. Tightened down the cover even intervals and in a criss-cross pattern. No issues with the actual valve cover gasket. Grommets to loose. Just reused the original ones. Also the picture shows VVT solenoid seals, those aren’t included in the package. Buy the Mahle kit for those two seals if needed- GS33786.

Gaskets fit perfect. I didn't change out the spark plug gromits, cause I didn't have a good punch to get the old ones out and the new ones in. Don't need any gasket "glue" for the gaskets , just for the metal seams on the block. Where the timing cover and block join.

I did the rear valve cover gasket on my 2008 Taurus-X 3.5 The main gasket was a good fit. No complaints there. However, all the spark plug seals were way to tight and didnt fit. (Even after using some lube on the spark plugs tube to help…) Also, the vvt solenoid seal was a real fight to have it fit. I ended up using the second one in the kit. The first one simply got damaged after to many failed attempts. And finally; the small blue grommets that are sealing each valve cover bolts are too loose. I had to fish 2 of these bolts at the bottom of the engine. (The blue color will help you locate your missing parts…) Overall, would i buy this kit again: NO. I needed to go and buy all the spark plugs seal from my Ford dealer. This is not supposed to happen when you buy FelPro. I am usually a big fan of all Felpro engine gaskets, dont get me wrong. But this kit simply didnt meet my expectations. I will probably return the rest of the kit for a full refund. Fyi, i have 21 years of experience as a car mechanic.
