Memorex 700Mb/80 Minute 52X CD-R, 10 Pack (32020033356)

The shipping packaging was torn; but thankfully the product was in tact. I could find the product much cheaper locally, but this was convenient when another product was being ordered.

They worked just fine for me. I used them for data storage. Cheapest I could find, and got the job done.

The disks work just fine. I burn a lot of disks and I have probably ordered 5 of these 100 disk units in the last five months. Of all of those only one could be opened properly. The only way I see to open this container is to screw off the top lid. It is hard to turn and it takes many revolutions to get it to where you think you might get it open. Then as I continue to turn this handle it starts to pop and it does not open. From there I find some way to break into this container to get at the disks. I saved the one center pole from one of these episodes and I store the disks from the just broken into container onto that. I have continued to buy these Memorex because they are good. I had problems with other brands that I tried. So, bad container aside, these are the best buy when I finally crack open the container. I just received my last order today and have screwed the lid to the top and now it's to the opening tools. One successful way is to drill down the post with a 1/2 inch drill bit and then the top will come off. You might have some drill debris to deal with but you can handle that. It is a relatively easy job if you have the right tools.As you can see from my previous review there were serious problems with the packaging. The last one was a complete disaster. The container holding the cd's was completely smashed. The disks have been usable but i put them onto the spool I was currently using. Each of those orders were from the same vendor. This time a different vendor. The box was just large enough for the container and it had no damage. Why I continued with the same vendor, I guess I'm a slow learner. Future orders will be from this vendor, and I burn a lot of disks.

I use these to back up my cd collection, for a car copy etc. I bought a pack of 100 verbatim and the first few off the stack worked fine. several months later I tried to burn a few cds and my computer kept telling me to insert a blank disc. I though something was wrong with my computer, but it was only a few months old. I tried on another computer and the same thing happened. My son gave me a disc from his stash and it worked. I was like, why? I just bought this stack of 100. I went through them all and none would work. I did not know what to think. I ordered some more because that was the brand I always used. They did not work either. I finally bought these memorex and so far so good. I don't know why this seems to be happening to a lot of people as I see in the reviews. So far I am very happy with the memorex. I only hope when I order more they will work as well.

Perhaps I am just being annoying. The product is fantastic. I've bought these CDs before. However, I specifically wanted Memorex CDs with a different face (the white CD with the purple broken glass logo as featured in the second photo). Unfortunately, that wasn't what I got. I am not even sure if that specific design is still in production. Minor gripe I guess. CD-R functions like any other CD.

They work fantastic and the music is clear.

HAD AN ISSUE WITH DEFECTIVE DISCS IN A PREVIOUS SHIPMENT ... RESPONSE WAS QUICK AND COURTEOUS ...

My CD's arrived in a box that had been opened, then rewrapped. The CD container inside the box had been opened. The plastic seal had been taken off the CD's , including ring styrofoam ring that hold the CD'S inplace. I checked my CD'S. They appear to be undamaged. This is the first time any item I have ordered appeared to be tampered with.

Very happy to be able to purchase the brand of our choice!

good deal...hard to find the big spools in the 'copy places'...I had only ONE that was a bad disc...

real good quality disc's at a great price, plus quick delivery, what more could I want???

These burn fine with my Transcend USB burner, but do not work with my Panasonic one for some reason.
