We ordered two of the white planters for the front porch & six terra cotta color for the back deck. These planters are larger than I thought which is completely fine with us! We love the fact that the stabilizers are a genius selling point, they hold the planters snugly on the rails. One thing we will do next growing season, we may put some kind of filler in the bottom of the planter before putting soil in them They take a lot of soil which makes them bulge a little in the middle. All in all, we are very happy with these planters! I wish there wasn't a limit on how many you can purchase, they would have made wonderful Mother's Day & Father's Day gifts. The price is fantastic, we will enjoy these for many years to come :)

This cleverly designed planter fits snugly upon our railing, even without the supplied supports. Drain holes are either in front of or behind the rail, ensuring that the wood does not rot. Moreover, it is attractive and it is a quite sturdy device.The low price makes it even more have a good buy.

I bought four of the white planters for my deck. My vinyl rails have a slightly rounded top (see pic), so I wasn't sure if these planters would work out. The included fasteners DO NOT secure these planters tight enough on a rounded top rail (see pic). I had to drill 4 holes and use heavy duty, clear zip ties, to get these planters nice and secure on my rail (see pic). Two zip ties go through the four holes and wrap around the railing (see pic). Two more zip ties are place under the ones around the railing and are then wrapped around two balusters (see pic). Four zip ties per planter are needed. The planters are slightly tilted towards the front of my deck, facing the morning sunrise (see pic). These are very nice planters and seem well built. I'm happy I was able to make these work, since I didn't have much floor space on my deck, because of the patio furniture. I rated them four out of five, due to the additional effort needed to make them work on my rounded railing tops. I installed all four in less than 30 minutes. I hope this information and the pictures help your decision.

I love the look and fit of this planter. I bought it because of the small pieces under the planter that help secure it to the railing. I also used plastic ties to reinforce it to the railing in case of strong winds. I drilled a couple extra holes to secure the ties at the bottom. Now it's super secure and looks lovely on the railing.I want to thank all the reviewers who not only give us their opinions but also great advice on how to make a product work better. Great planters for the small fence that goes around our back porch in our apartment and looks nice too. The product comes with pieces to make it fit tighter to your fence. However, we must have an odd size fence as the pieces did not work. So, I used additional pieces of wood as a wedge to attach it tighter to the fence. Eventually those fell out. Finally, though these planters are so big that if you fill them with dirt, they will be so heavy that a wild animal or wind could not easily knock them off the fence.

I've had this item for over a year and a half. I did cause it to crack a little when improperly handling it to remove it from the fence to replant. As you would expect, they get heavy once filled with soil and plants, so don't pull from the sides! Otherwise, they have held up well. (I have a total of 3)Pros:- Looks very nice. I purchased the white/(ivory?)- Where the water drains is elevated which creates a bit of reservoir on the bottom. This is a great help to prevent my plants from drying out too quickly as it gets very hot and dry in the summers where I am.- Has the adjustable piece to secure it. Ive found no other that can sit atop my vinyl fencing which it can only do with the adjustable pieces, because my vinyl fencing is thinner than the largest width (for wood rail or wall), and wider than the smallest setting (for metal rail) of the planter. I have found no other planter that can sit on top of my vinyl fencing.- At the time of this review, it's on sale for almost 50% off! That makes it a great deal and makes me want to go back and buy more.Cons:- My first delivery was missing one of the attachments. (I didn't know it was suppose to have two.). I used a screw (not a wood screw) as a replacement, but it isn't great. Unfortunately, I don't know how to get more of the actual pieces.- My second delivery was of two planters and one of them was again missing one attachment.- At the time, I paid full price which was a bit high at $30-40 a piece.Since the item is on sale at the time of this review I am considering getting more, even though they seem very inconsistent with making sure the attachment is included.

I was skeptical of the sturdiness but the fasteners work well. It’s just plastic but they withstand the Florida heat, rain and humidity pretty well. Decent size too. I would recommend these.

The flower box is very well made. The company is reliable. I had a couple of stabilizers arrive broken. I didn't want to return the product and asked if they could send me new pieces. The pieces arrived. That is why I consider the company reliable. Contact was made via email.
