I’ve been disillusioned with my pod coffee maker for quite some time; besides the pods being environmental disasters, I found that even if the reservoir looks empty, there is remaining water in the channels where the reservoir fits into the machine. Although I regularly cleaned my machine, I discovered black mold in mine that was only visible when I swabbed the small channels with Q-tips. I often wonder how much of this mold I consumed with my morning coffee! Ugh!We bought a Chemex for making several cups at a time, but I like a single cup in the afternoon…this is just right for making one or two cups at a time. Provides the perfect vehicle for producing that perfect fresh drip-brewed cup of coffee. Retains all the heat and flavor consistently. Couldn’t be easier or work better. So if you want to have a FRESH cup every time, avoid using the pods. After you get a fresh cup every time, you’ll realize that your pod coffee was flavorless compared to this easy method. Every bit as convenient as pods, but you use fresh CLEAN water every time.

This product is excellent! However, I wanted it in black and on two occasions, Amazon has sent it to me in white - I simply gave up.

Flows nicely, well made, fits over all my mugs. Overall great!

I bought this because I am going on vacation, and the rental does not have a Kuerig. All of my travel companions like different flavored coffee. So making a large pot isn’t feasible.I had seen this these years ago, in plastic. I like that these are ceramic, and very sturdy. They came with filters, so I didn’t have to find them separately. It is dishwasher safe so easy to clean.The only thing I noticed after the first time I used it, was that one of the three holes on the bottom where the coffee drains out was closed. I used to work with ceramics, so I get it- it’s not a big hole and the glaze must’ve blocked it. It’s not worth my aggravation to return it- not a huge deal. It still works. I guess just drains a little slower. It was just a little disappointing. Overall, I like it.
