Just what you needed. A good screw.
Yes they're screws. M6, with a nice metal washer and sturdy nut to go along with it.These handled almost all of my rack mount equipment except some situations that called for a little more length like thicker mounts, these won't quite satisfy. Such is life and when you need extra depth get a 3/4" long M6 from the hardware or grab a few on amazon.

The screws could be a bit longer
Wish the screws were longer. They will work but it would be better it they were 3 or 4 threads longer. However overall quality is good.

Love the look of them in the rack just wish ...
Love the look of them in the rack just wish they were a tad longer. They don't seem to have enough threads with the spacer for thicker appliances( i.e. Ups/ Apc style cases) & you really can't use them w/o the spacer.

nice rackscrews
They work well and are a nice price for a bunch of rack screws.

They do what theyre supposed to for fairly inexpensive.
I used these to mount networking equipment at 3 different warehouses and they have held up fine. No issues to report. Installation/adding them to our racks was pretty effortlessly.

Screws are simply too short.
As another review points out - these screws are a bit short…. OK - not a bit - simply unusable. The thread length need to be much longer for them to work. Unfortunately, ordered 3 packs. After looking at these, decided to do some measuring with a digital caliper as something wasn't adding up. All values may be +/- 0.01:"end to end" total screw length (measuring across the arc of the head through end of threading): 15.48MM- These aren't even the 16MM as statedThread area, without the washer and metal surround: 11.84MM (defeats the reason for purchase)Thread area, with the washer and metal surround: 9.48MM <-- usable thread lengthCage Nut depth (distance from front of rail to nut: 4.71MMIn order to have confidence and full mechanical contact, you need at least 1MM (preferably a bit more) of screw thread *past* the end of the nut cage. Realistically, should also have the leading (non-threaded) starter on the screw to make installation and use easier.4.53MM - washer and surround4.71MM - gap from nut to front of rack rail5MM - device’s rackmount ear1MM - additional length to ensure screw is completely *through* the nut, for secure “full connection” to the nut= 15.24MM (round to 16MM)—————16MM of *thread length* - not 16MM of total screw length. Would be optimal to have an additional short length of non-threaded rod to help guide the screw into the cage nut.Basically, the screws that are currently provided - will screw into the cage nut and once the plastic washer meetings the flanges of the screw nut, the screw still isn’t long enough to run 1MM past the end of the cage nut for secure contact. Thus, there is also *NO* available thread length for equipment, eg: 5MM for rackmount ear +1MM to run past/through the cage nut for proper mechanical connection to the nut. The whole reason for purchasing these was so that the screws would retain the surround and the washer for a very nice, uniform presentation of equipment in the rack. [sigh]In retrospect, one might argue that measuring before ordering would have been appropriate, but honestly didn't expect this to have zero (0) available clearance for mounting - when the screw threads reach the back of the cage nut (this should be the absolute minimum depth for reasonable mechanical connection).

they are fine.
Screws are are a little short so we couldnt use the washers with a few devices but otherwise, they are fine.
