Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain

The original Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain was great but I sort of lost my way somewhere in the middle. The New Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain starts out similarly but starts changing some of the exercises about 1/3 of the way in. For wannabe artists like myself, it is a great way to learn about drawing - the first skill an artist needs. But if you don’t want to be an artist - as in drawing and painting- this book can still help you access your creative side. Doing so opens you up to creative solutions in all areas of your life. And, this book is an interesting read.I haven’t got to the end and done my self portrait yet. I would promise an update later on but I’ll likely forget to do it.

One of the most beautiful pages in a book I have seen.

Bought it second hand but it came in great condition. It is written in a very clear way and offers great insights into drawing theory along with very practical instructions and exercises. I also have the accompanying work book, though this book would likely have sufficed.
