Make sure you have the proper Jacks!
Would you use a hammer as a saw?You need the tool for the proper jack. I have for OnQ and one for Leveton Jack's, never had any problems using these tools. From reading reviews it looks like strait up user error.I'm a professional, I've been punching down telecom, network systems and POE equipment since 1998.Great tool, always travel with them and yes I have other brands as well for each of the different Jack's I terminate.Definitely a 10 star tool!

I never terminated my own cable before....and this tool was my first tryhowever its effectiveness is hit or miss as I test the cables after I make them...I guess its a low priced tool, but it has proven not very reliable for me...so testing is mandatory.... maybe i just got a lemon, as it seems like a well made tool...dunno, but that was my experience...

Okay Jack Termination Tool
This was a great concept, but unfortunately, it didn’t work so well for us. My husband has some on-q ends. They aren’t quite long enough so this can’t terminate them. My husband pushed it in by hand and closed the crimper which was when he saw the gap it had. We would recommend just sticking with a traditional punch-down tool.
