Woold you believe it
Just wow what a piece of kit. It has transformed my loose wool in to neat balls of wool. I'm so happy with it because it's not flimsy. The winder it is a strong & tough fast and should I say it, FUN ! Oh so much fun

Such Fun!
I watched a YouTube video on ‘how to use’ - highly recommend that first. The wool guide was a bit unsteady, but some hot glue sorted that out. I love it though, great value for money, looks kinda retro - which I love. Winding wool has never been so easy or quick - I literally can’t stop, it’s addictive!! Fabulous little gadget.

Exceptional delivery service
Have lots of odd balls of wool so a friend of mine lent me hers. Thought it was great so I bought my own.

It isn’t as sturdy as I thought it would be but does the job.

Great BUT
It's really good and a lot easier to do my wool.BUT the wee hook pin keeps jumping back in all the time which makes me stop many times through winding a ball.Other than that it's still good value for money and to me a must have.I ve picked up crocheting in my sobriety and through the lock down and never thought I would need one of these as bever through I would keep crocheting. But I did and I ve signed up for my first craft fair and crocheting a lot lately.Winding my wool by hand is time consuming and hands get tired,I love this gadget but manufacturer beeds to find a way to secure the pin so it can get 5*

Could be better
It was quite hard work to use: the clamp wouldn’t tighten enough to grip the winder properly to the table ledge and the wool (very expensive skein of merino) often got tangled in the teeth of the mechanism. Disappointed.

Yarn winder
Unfortunately this was not as good as I hoped it doesn’t really take a 100g ball of wool and the little yarn support arm keeps dropping down quite flimsy.
