A Modern Guide to Granny Squares: Awesome Color Combinations and Designs for Fun and Fabulous Crochet Blocks

I love this book!! It has great basic information like how to begin and how to end with pictures! It also shows basic stitches, so important for beginners! You won’t be sorry. Patterns are easy to follow and are beautiful.

Great book. Many options for squad and they are all super cute.

The instructions for each square were clear and well illustrated. The suggested projects also provide ways to be creative and design your own items.

I LOVE granny squares. So I fell in love with the blocks pictured on the cover of this book. They are unique and look like fun to make. And they are. I mostly copied the colors of yarn pictured, but with a different brand. The only thing that makes this 4 stars instead of 5 is the written instructions. I find the author's flow of instructions difficult to follow. However, the charts are clear and somewhat easier to read. Since I love the patterns, I have persevered, and am happy with the outcome of my granny squares.

Good variety of squares. Love the colors used as color choice is not my specialty.

Excelentes explicações e dicas, com gráficos e sugestões ótimas. Para quem esta começando no crochê já é meio complicado mas o livro é bem didático para fazer quadrados

Bellissima raccolta di progetti granny. Di facile consultazione anche se in inglese

Belle surprise, pour un volume très coloré et avec des modèles vraiment mignons et originaux. Ce livre , en anglais, conviendra aux débutant(e)s comme aux confirmé(e)s. Les modèles sont classés en 3 niveaux de difficulté et expliqués en détail mais également en diagramme (le plus simple pour moi). L auteur propose en plus des combinaisons de carrés et petit bonus en fin de volume : quelques idées pour utiliser les (grands!) grannysquares au cas où l'on serait fatigué du traditionnel plaid. Bref, un très joli livre vitaminé.

Sehr schönes Buch, mit vielen schönen Anleitungen und Abbildungen. Große farbige Häkel Schriften. Die Modelle sind nicht alle neu aber es ist eine wirklich schöne Sammlung.
