Perfect tool for transferring water from one container to another.
Purchased this to address a leak in my air conditioning closet inside my house. I have a large container set up in the back of the closet to catch the water, but about once a week this needs to be emptied. It is too difficult to get the container in and out of the tight space. So, I purchased this pump to get the water from that larger container into a smaller container to carry it away. This works PERFECTLY. It moves the water very quickly. Fills up a 2 gallon bucket in less than a minute and is easy to handle. No problems whatsoever. Both the to and from container are at the same level. So this takes scare of the 'gravity' flow issue you have with most manual siphons.

What a great pump. I use this to transfer water for ...
Wow! What a great pump. I use this to transfer water for my aquariums, as it's difficult for me to lift 5 gallon jugs from my wheelchair. I am blown away by how quickly this thing moves water with only 2 AA batteries. Very impressive, worked great right out of the box, and seems very well built.

Frustration Saver
After the gubamint got stupid and mandated the EPA "max spill" gas cans I had to do something. This little gizmo does the trick. Gas, Kerosene, Diesel....it works fine with all. Actually pumps faster than one thinks on a couple of AA batteries, so keep your eye on it while in use.

Great way to transfer gas.
Great product. We were trying to fill our jet skis on our dock with a 5 gallon gas tank and had major spilling because of those safety spouts that come on every gas can these days. I purchased a Terapump Mod.# TRHA01 from Amazon and filling those jet skis on the a dock or anywhere is the best way and the Terapump worked perfect. I would recommend pump to anyone who owns a gas can with the spilling spouts.

Fills fast, easy on the back and a relief when it's cold outside!
I have the hand pump version of this as well as a funnel. Problem is, the five gallon jugs of kerosene that I use to fill my heater are heavy and my back doesn't like that! So while the funnel is fine, I am really only comfortable using it when the jug is low and light enough to lift and pour. And the hand pump version of this is a total nuisance. So this battery-powered pump is exactly what I needed! I read the reviews and, while the cheaper versions were tempting, this one was cost effective but highly ranked. So far, so good! It fills my kerosene heater QUICKLY, in fact, so quick that I suggest watching your gauge. While the hand pump used to take five or more minutes, this thing fills the heater up in less than two minutes with no back-breaking labor required!TERAPUMP Portable Power Water / Fuel Battery Pumps

Not Great
This goes through batteries very fast making it expensive to use for what it does. You are better off using a hand siphon or buy a stronger electrical pump to do the job. Trying to get the pump to work was frustrating with having the tube primed just right for the flow to be strong. Unreliable results.

Good price for the pump.
This is the second pump I've purchased. The first one lasted several months but this second one broke just after the refund date had passed. I'll buy another one and will updated this review after I've used it.

Aquarium water changes have never been easier!
I was hoping for an easier way to do water changes for my many fish, shrimp and crayfish tanks. Figured I would take a chance on this, it has to be easier than using a small hose, starting a siphon manually and waiting for it to finish and repeating the process to refill. Got this item in, I figured i would start on the smallest 4 of the tanks. Took out my normal 15% water in about 10 seconds per tank! I always keep my RO/DI water in 5 gallon water jugs, with this new pump, all I had to do was put it down through the top of the jug and flip the switch, it topped off each tank in about 15 seconds...Amazing! Next I moved to my largest tank, which is 150 gallon, same thing, put the pump in the tank, kept a bucked down below, filled up the bucket in about a minute or so, now I'm just wondering why I waited so long to buy this thing, seriously.
