My 4 year old granddaughter loves this! It was not too difficult to assemble. Took about 45 minutes and is decent quality. A good compromise vs. the full size Barbie Dreamhouse. It folds up neatly when not in use. Has cute features like the swing chair and rooftop lounge area. She loves the full size bathtub.

This was my daughter’s favorite Christmas present. I can see many many hours of play. She wanted a Barbie house and I didn’t want it to take up a lot of space and this was the best one on the market. I got it on sale and thought the price was a good point to make the purchase. The colors are bright and the rooms are fun, the top roof with the sunbathing area is her favorite feature. We haven’t had any issues with the house falling over or any parts breaking. I do have a fairly responsible kid and she does take care of her toys well.

Word of advice... When ordering this doll house, at check out make sure you click on "SHIP IN AMAZON PACKAGING" because if you don't it will ship in the manufacturers box and trust me, based on other reviews it will most likely arrive beaten up pretty bad. I did ask it be shipped in additional packaging and the box arrived without visible damage. Thank goodness, because it is a gift for a nine year old Christmas angel tree recipient and we wanted the box and hopefully the contents to be in good condition. The box itself is not small. 28"x16"x8" and weighs about 9lbs. Besides the fact it is a Barbie house what sold me was that it is foldable for easier storage. Bought it on cyber Monday so I feel the price was fair considering what I've seen elsewhere. Since we are not opening it ourselves we are hoping all the parts are there and nothing is broken.

On the plus side, the house is a good size. It was easy to assemble. The fold up feature is a definite plus as it fits well in a smaller bedroom. The bathtub doubles as a pool. On the minus side, the label stickers are too flimsy. One of them tore in half when applying to a furniture drawer. The chairs are poor quality soft plastic that are crooked and do not sit level. The lounge chairs on the 3rd story are impossible to adjust--my husband was able to adjust them with difficulty. It's a little over the top on value for money--I would not recommend at full price. But the granddaughter loves it so we're keeping it.

I LOVE THIS BARBIE HOUSE. The other Barbie dream house takes up so much room in our playroom. This is so easy to fold up and no assembly. My 4 year old loves it. Allows her to have room for her other toys. Allows her to still have her elevator. Super cute and fun and easy to store or move when she wants to play with something other than Barbie. I wish I bought this first before the huge dream house.

My daughter had been asking for a Barbie house literally all year long. Her birthday was at the beginning of this month, and I had pretty much accepted the fact that I was going to have to drop $200 or more on the excessively gigantic and overpriced Barbie Dream House to ensure my daughter’s dreams weren’t crushed and her childhood ruined. I was casually browsing Amazon for My Little Pony birthday decor when I came across this life-changing, bank account-saving, trauma-preventing little gem that I never knew existed up until then! First of all, this house is every bit as nice as the dream house- elevator, accessories, rooftop seating, and a pool/bathtub too! Did I mention the accessories?! There were tons of them!!! My personal favorite thing about this house as opposed to the dream house is the size and portability - we are very space limited in my house, so there’s not a lot of extra room for huge toys/ball pits/mini bowling alleys/what have you, and I was pleasantly surprised at how space efficient this house was. It folds up to about 1 ft wide and 2 ft high, so it’s not taking up the entire room or getting in the way. My daughter can’t tell the difference between this and the dream house anyway, so she’s thrilled with it and has been playing with it nonstop. As if that’s not enough to convince a person, do the math - this house is literally a fraction of the cost of the dream house, and you’re really not sacrificing anything in terms of quality or substance - the only real difference that I can think of would be the difference in size, and for us, the smaller sized house was preferable anyway, so it worked out. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend. One thing I will mention though is that it comes in a huge, very non discreet box that clearly shows what it inside, so if this is a gift, make sure to plan accordingly.
