La Costena Sliced Jalapeno, 12 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I purchased the 12 pk. of these smaller sized cans than I normally buy. We go through a lot of jalapeños and I usually have to buy the large commercial sized can. With these smaller cans, I get comparable quantity and price, but fresher quality since I only open a smaller amount at a time. - I like sliced jalapeños, but these are not sliced into rings. They are the long slices from stem to tip. As I have aged, my reflux does not allow me to eat as large a slice as I was formerly used to. This was not a problem after I noticed that the can was wide enough for me to insert my hand blender and grind the entire can into a form of salsa where I could spoon on a lighter amount into my food. I could dab a bit onto each tortilla chip for nachos or add a heaping spoonful to a thick soup that needed spicing up. I actually have more portion control for my needs with the “hand blender in the can” method. I will purchase again because canned jalapeños are a family staple item.

good pickled jalapenos, actually has some carrot and onion in it as well, which is nice...not sliced like your normal jalapenos, into rings, but in long slices, which I have no problem with, doesn't affect the flavor, and it's the best price on the market.

We love the flavor of these! Ill be ordering some more, we tend to go through a lot of peppers and these are great for the flavors you might find at a taco stand in San Diego!

Same good jalapenos in smaller cans works well for me. This a particularly good brand of peppers.

I couldn't find this specific brand of pickled jalapeños in my area so I ordered from Amazon. They taste just like what I remember...delicious!
