A profoundly transformative book for modern women
This book completely changed my life, and I have gifted it to many of my friends. Before reading the book, I was unaware of the subconscious beliefs I had being in my own skin as a woman, and this book not only helped me become aware of limiting beliefs (lies, at that!) but to move through them. When I began reading this book, I was crying everyday in heartbreak and felt my self-esteem trickling away after my partner suddenly left me, with no explanation. I remember waking up one morning looking for something to read, but none of the books I was currently engaged in were interesting to me. They weren't what my heart and soul needed. I had a sample of this book downloaded on my iPad, and I opened it to check it out. Within 30 minutes, I downloaded the full copy and began a new relationship with myself. I took myself on dates to my favorite restaurants, reading the book and journaling alongside it. A new kind of love, patience, and power for myself came through the time I spent reading. The shift it created for my life and the paramount role it had in helping me heal my heart, from more than just my last relationship, was unlike anything I've ever experienced from a book. Warrior Goddess Training showed me new depths of self-love, acceptance, inner strength, clarity, and I stepped into a more complete and empowered relation to myself. I can hardly thank you enough, HeatherAsh Amara!!

The guidance and wisdom in this book has helped me to awaken to the parts of me that truly need to be loved and accpected 'whole
The last few months I have been guided to step into complete self-acceptance and to heal the parts of myself that need to be acknowledged to allow this transformation. The guidance and wisdom in this book has helped me to awaken to the parts of me that truly need to be loved and accpected 'whole heartedly'. HeatherAsh Amara's openess to share parts of her own journey allowed me to dig deeper and challenged my own currents beliefs that I have held onto for way to long. It has also challenged me to recognize the fear I am still hanging onto when it comes completely accepting myself and owning my own Warrior Goddess Energy. I feel truly blessed and honored to have had this book be part of my journey. HeatherAsh Amara's book is so well written it flows with ease and understanding. It spoke to that part of me that needed to know I wasn't alone on this journey, and that many women have traveled along this same path and are amazingly stronger for it.I was guided to this book, and now I am being guided to other woman who have read or are reading this book. This is a wonderful book for any women who need guidance on how to love one self without judgement, and step into complete acceptance of all that we are. My heart is filled with gratitude for that HeatherAsh Amara has shared in this book.Blessings and love

Good for Men Too
There are good reasons to be skeptical of this review, and good reasons to pay close heed to it. I was for many years a student of Heather Ash Amara and consider her a dear friend. Also, I am a man. On the other hand I am author of eight published books and a retired publishing professional who has edited more than 200, many in this genre. I truthfully do not believe that there is anyone more familiar with the literature of the modern Toltecs or modern shamanism than I. This book is one of the very best in the genre and stacks up well with the best of don Miguel Ruiz and his sons, Castaneda, Sandra Ingerman, Michael Harner, anybody you could name. The material is fresh and original and the writing is flawless. As for the man thing, there is nothing in this book that most men could not profit from, though I would not recommend you start calling yourself a "warrior god". The guys down at the Harley dealership might not understand. If you caught a whiff of snarkiness in that last, well, not really. Guys in our society are encouraged to play it big, and woe betide the sensitive lad who doesn't, which is a subject for a whole other book. But women are taught to play small, and, for those uncomfortable with this notion this book offers a fresh and effective way out of that.In defense of the men I would say that I don't think, at least in this generation, that we are the ones who caused women to play small. Back in the days before Buffy, as an editor, I wanted to do a series about a tough woman heroine and it was the women of publishing who squelched, on the theory that neither women nor men would like it. Ask Joss Whedon about that. But never mind; we're in a different era and a different culture. Strong confident men like strong confident women. I can only encourage you to read this book, six times would be best, do the practices, and watch your life bloom.

Inspiring
This book has given me a direction and a means. To let myself and live myself wholeheartedly for all that I am. Giving myself permission to express myself and to give myself space to heal.
