Q: Are these shoes available in wide width?

I believe so. We returned a pair bc they were wide. It was just a different style.

This is a golf shoe from Puma, but i'm sure you can use it to play disc golf. You can even wear them as a casual walking shoe.

Q: Are the inside of the strings steel/metal of the nylon strings?

They are not steel/metal to the touch, and not nylon. They feel like a hard, coated plastic.

Q: How do you release the tension on the laces after tightening the disc ?

Just turn it 1/4 turn counterclockwise and it completely releases. I love mine. Just got home from 18 holes and they are very comfortable.
