New Balance Men's 806 V1 Sneakers

What great shoes! I've tried a few tennis shoes and none were comfortable or wide enough. These ones are just awesome. I've tried to find similar cleats and can't match the fit from these. Tempted to buy another pair for when these eventually conk. A pleasure to wear.

I feel comfortable rating a five. Good fit and comfortable. Have not worn yet for tennis but expect they will be like others of this model that I have worn before.

New Balance are a good brand and these appear to be a well made shoe, but IS NOT for extra-wide feet! I ordered the extra wide and these cramp your toes like every other "pointed toe" shoe. Additionally I have the misfortune of wearing a size 15 shoe and I dont know if its because of the length, but the laces are on the front 3rd of the shoe leaving the middle and rear feeling loose-fitting and unsecure.

These are great shoes! I play a lot of pickleball and these have good grip and are very comfortable. This is probably my 4th or 5th pair. I love ‘em!

The most recent pair of Newbalance shoes I ordered (NB 806) did not live up to my expectations. I have bought several pairs of NB1006 (have been unable to find lately) in the past several years and have always been very pleased with the way they fit, their comfort and their durability. The pair of NB806 I most recently purchased that was specified to be the same size as all the pairs previous ordered was not wide enough nor long enough. I returned the first pair and ordered a wider (4E) pair as a replacement. These were also very tight across the width of the shoe and very uncomfortable. Although I continued to try to wear them past the return deadline thinking they would loosen up, they have been very uncomfortable and I will not purchase Newbalance shoes like this in the future. Some of my friends that I play pickleball and tennis with who have purchased the NB806 tell me they have also had the same experience as me.

A little uncomfortable until you wear it for a couple of times. Now they feel great! Very comfortable!

This is a very supportive tennis shoe and this 2E (wide) version fits well! Unlike other shoes, New Balance shoes offer a wide toe box while maintaining a sure fitting heel. Often, 'wide' models of shoes are wide throughout, causing one's foot to slide inside the shoe. Such repetitive strain can lead to injury, especially during fast moving games of tennis. With the increased stability and side support, these shoes may have less breath-ability, but time will tell! They've only been worn once at the time of this review.
