Seems very easy to use.
I have not tested this as I obviously don’t want to break my window. But, I’ve seen videos of this tool in action and it looks very easy to use. It is much better than a hammer style which may not even be useable if you are hurt. I’ve read that the hammer style won’t even work for today’s new cars.

I hope I never have to use it, but it's great to have
After seeing a story on our local news of a police officer who used a similar item to rescue herself, I decided to buy these for myself and my young adult son. They are very sturdy and lightweight. Fit nicely on my keychain too. The cover for the seatbelt cutter doesn't come off easily and risk cutting something when you don't want it to.
