Saved My Ford Focus – No More Steering Whine or Messy Leaks!
My Ford Focus had developed a slow power steering leak and a horrible whine every time I turned the wheel – especially at low speeds. I was fully expecting a costly repair job, but I decided to give this Lucas Oil Stop Leak a shot first… and I’m so glad I did!Poured it straight into the reservoir (no tools, no hassle), took the car for a spin, and within a couple of days the whining noise had almost completely gone. After a week, the leaking had stopped and the steering felt noticeably smoother.Honestly, this stuff is a lifesaver if your power steering’s on the way out. Great value, easy to use, and it genuinely works. Highly recommend giving it a go before paying for garage repairs – it gave my old Focus a second wind!

Great stuff. Maybe I got lucky, but I put the entire bottle in my honda accord. Seal up around the steering wheel had a leek. No More. Recommended, if you're leek isn't really bad.

Didnt stop the leak
Didn't reduce pump noise. Didn't stop leak. Not sure this does what it says it does and tempted to say, just repair the leak and use cheaper fluid!

Works
Worked well until I replaced a perished o ring with a genuine part, and quietened an old system down.

Actually Works!
It's pretty thick, so I unscrewed the top and removed foil and carefully poored/squeezed in in up to fill line. Maybe use a funnel to avoid spills & have a cloth handy. Used most of the bottle over a week or so, leak reduced as did noise, steering was very stiff to start with, but fine after a min or so. Touch wood, leak has stopped, not had to add any fluid for a week or so. Nothing else has worked, tried 3 others.

It worked for me
I had what I thought was quite a serious leak, so was a bit sceptical whether this fluid would seal it. I noticed some advice to avoid cheaper alternatives, and was aware that some people had success and some did not. So I add my experience, that it worked for me immediately and have now been going for several weeks without a leak. Long may it continue!

Doesn't work
Didn't work. Tried it on a cold and a hot engine but leak is just as bad.

Never again Lucas oil
I just want to share my experience with this steering oil. As soon as I put it in my steering tank my steering pump started to make very bad and loud noise! I had to call a mobile mechanic and pay £70 for labour as well as £20 extra for new oil to drain this oil from my car. Sadly, every time I start my car now the loud noise is still there. The oil itself is very thick and I guess it is not just blocking leaks but also block the flow to the steering pump. So my advice is think twice before you put this product in your steering pump. This product should be stopped from production.
