Kale Seeds - Lacinato Kale aka Dinosaur Kale or Black Tuscan Kale (100+ Seeds)

Germinated well ... Happily growing ... looking forward to cooking

I am very happy with the sprouting percentage for this seed.

Planted early and have eaten it already.

We got these seeds to encourage our very picky eater to eat more green veggies. He was super excited to eat "dino plants." He got very upset when the other plants we ordered (we planted them all at the same time) grew, but his "dino leaves" did not.

These arrived in a thin plastic envelope in a regular mail envelope. A percentage of them fell victim to the postal stamps and machines. Either a padded envelope or padding on both sides of the seed would be good.I selected 4 good looking seed and got 50% germination. 1 germinated after 6 days, the other after 8 days. Not conclusive, at least partial success. It's early and they're still tiny so hopefully they will do well and in a few months I'll have something to put into my smoothies.Edit - adding two stars as they do germinate fairly well (71%) and grew to good looking Lacinato plants that I am currently harvesting. They are doing significantly better than the other curly/dwarf Kales I have been growing. Shipping could still be improved, but considering the reasonable price I think 4/5 is justified.
