Not for me
I could not get past the scent. It’s supposed to be citrus-like but there was something off about it. The texture of the scrub is somewhat nice. I thought it’d be a softer scrub yet it’s not. So it irritated my skin. However, I did like the amount of product and the packaging. Honestly, if it had a different scent, it wouldn’t be a bad product for the price.

Grey Poupon Country Dijon
The Vitamin C-Body-Scrub is provided in a 280 gram, almost ten ounces, cute tub. It has the appearance of Grey Poupon Country Dijon. The Scrub contains a variety of chemical exfoliants and ground walnut shells for mechanical abrasion. Among the contents are Sodium Hyaluronate and Squalane to provide moisturization. The Hyaluronate is the best moisturizer, carrying one-thousand times its weight in water into the skin. The Squalane can trap the moisture within the skin. I tried the Scrub out where it was needed, on my usually greasy nose. I know, its not supposed to be used for your face. I could see and feel the small walnut particles. I washed the Scrub off with warm water. It worked. It left my skin pink and clean. It removed excess oil and cleaned my pores. Very good.

Mineral oil
Mineral oil is the bane of my existence. Dimethicone is tolerable for my skin but mineral oil breaks me out anywhere but my legs and arms. Maybe stick to trying on my hands for now. This is why I hate brands that don't clearly have the ingredients listed. My new fav thing is requesting ones that don't so I can post a pic of the ingredients for everyone :) also with how far down any of the "good" ingredients are I'm iffy on this. Even for a gift idk if I'd buy it.Aside from that the scrub feels great. Used it on my hands and they feel "moisturized". It's like a film of the mineral oil is sticking to me, so how products with it usually feel to ME. I know others like it so I'm not dinging a star for it. Otherwise it worked pretty well, not SUPER full of shell powder so you have enough slip to work it in, and it's not so much oil/water you don't get any exfoliation. A really good balance. It IS annoying trying to only rinse it off. I'd use it before I use soap so I can get the excess oil off. Otherwise it'll need HOT water to rinse enough off. I used dish soap to get the excess off and my hands still feel too covered by it. But I only use a spray on lotion (light on heavy oils, heavy on squalene and hydrating extracts) or one that has shea and cocoa butter but absorbs completely. I'm just mega picky but If you're a avid user of any kind of scrub I fell you'll like this. The only gripe I have with this is how hard it is to get off the excess. So 4 stars for overall ingredients (ignoring my personal hatred of mineral oil LOL) and how hard it is to rinse off.

very creamy, but wish the citrus scent was more "forward"
I was so excited to try this scrub, but I was somewhat disappointed. The scrub certainly does have a lovely creamy whipped texture. However, I was hoping for a strong assertive hit of citrus scent and that is not there - I found it to be quite mild indeed. I found the bottle lid to be a bit awkward to open - enough so that I was worried I would fumble it in the shower, and get water in it, so I turned off the water while I applied this - which worked well enough, but then I was cold. Perhaps next time I would slather this on BEFORE I get in the shower - I think that would work better. I love the idea of shower scrubs like this but in practice they rarely work well for me - I feel like cheap scrubby poufs exfoliate better.

Decent body scrub
One of the few body scrubs I've used - I wouldn't say I'm impressed by it's performance compared to the others I've tried. However, I've noticed the extra moisture it provided to my legs & lower body, & I do appreciate that. (As, disclaimer, This should only be used on the body! DO NOT use this on the face.)At first glance, I was expecting it to be heavier on the brightening aspect, as that's what vitamin c products & physical exfoliants are advertised to mainly do in skin care. I sadly saw 0 results from this after a month of constant usage (3-4/week). I deal with persistent, obnoxious hyperpigmentation that rather quickly fades away with chemical exfoliants (AHAs). I was hoping this product could potentially replace the expensive chemical exfoliants I use as the price/product ratio in this scrub is amazing. Again, 0 results. So I personally recommend you look elsewhere if you're looking to lighten dark marks from hyperpigmentation or from certain scars with this product. It has the consistency of a typical mud mask/face exfoliant, but there's much more particles (**walnut shells**) present in this product. It's clearly why it's marketed as a BODY scrub. You WILL damage the skin on your face if you use this product on it, as it's really sensitive. If you're looking for an exfoliant to use on your face, please look at the chemical ones first (ahas/phas/bhas) in order. Any type of physical exfoliant is usually too much, unless you have a skin condition, or it's used once a week or two.I can see this really benefiting people who have dryer skin types & shed because of it. Or people who want that extra exfoliation with a bit of moisture (heavy on the exfoliation, though. As that's what you're mainly getting from this product). As for the scent, It also has a nice, heavier citrus smell to it, like oranges or lemon. It isn't overwhelming & it surprisingly isn't noticeable after you wash off the product. It shouldn't be an issue, even if you're usually sensitive to smells. In conclusion, it's nothing groundbreaking. I can see this being a decent pickup if you're planning on using it as a spa-day product. A "fun" skincare product to use when wanting to spoil yourself, & not a necessity. It does it's job very well as a body exfoliant, the extra bit of moisture is easily overlooked if you already have moisturizing body products implemented on your skincare routine (body oils, body creams, lotions, so on..). I also don't find this necessary, or recommend to use daily if you already constantly exfoliate your body with a loafa/body rag. The price/product ratio is also nice. Even If used 3-5 times a week, it should easily last about 2 months.over all, a 3/5. I was really wishing that it'd help with my hyperpigmentation. I'll sadly stick to my chemical exfoliants for now.
