WOW! So easy to install and get started (within 20mins)I have only had it for a week and can already notice the softer , better tasting water.But the biggest impovements are - Showering (no more dry skin/itchiness) ; Washing Machine (clothes much softer) and Dishin washer ( No watermarks etc )So very very happy with the purchase and better health (and wealth as energy bills will be reduced! :) )Well recommended :)

Its been three months soince we installed the Eddy and we have seen some changes to our hot water supply.The first thing we noticed was a much improved flow on our hot water system. Prior to the installation the flow was milky colured and very slow now the flow has increased by 100% and the water comes through iat a greater flow rate. This must mean a saving in gas - boiler working for less time. I am also hopeful that it will save us having to replace the heat exchanger in the boiler quite so often, we have been through three in six years thats a total of some £600 ! (We also go through electric showers at about the same rate)There is also been other changes the electric kettle, no scale build up, shower screen stays cleaner, less scale on taps and less use of soap as you don't need to to use as much.The device is very easy to fit, taking around an hour. The device comes with cable ties to hold the coils onto the pipe and I would suggest its a goood idea to have a couple of spares in case of mistakes. (Once fitted give the Eddy time to work ! This is stipuated in the manual and is why writing the recommendation has been left )Although the Eddy is not the cheapest on the market the benefits we feel out weigh this. All round an excellent device .

Seems to work... Noticed a change in the water within the first week! Wife noticed easier to wash her hair! Haven't noticed any change in limescale deposits yet but only been operating 1 month so far! Easy to fit though so good alternative to full blown water softener.

I've waited a year before reviewing this,but as I say,I'm still not sure if it was worth buying or not.We live in a hard water area and suffer badly from limescale.The kettle does seem to get less scale now,although it has not by any means been totally eliminated,but we still have to regularly put a limescale remover in the toilet. Also, despite continuing to use the same ammount of powder recommended for hard water in our Bosch washing machine,there hasn't been any noticeable difference in the cleanliness of washing,which we assumed would improve if the water wasn't so hard.To be honest,if we moved house I don't know if I'd bother buying this again.

I live in an area with very hard water (Bath) and for years scale was an issue. This device solved it WITHOUT making the water too soft or with extra salt. I am very happy with the product and strongly recommend it. I advise to get a plumber to do a proper instalation (if the the pipe system is complicated) to get the full benefits. It works - full stop.

This does not work at all, as far as I can see. Kettle still has lots of scale after the first boil! I live in a hard water area.

This bit of kit really does work. Don't think that it will get rid of your limescale because it won't. It simply means it doesn't stick/build up in the same way. My kettle now remains descaled and my parents who also have one spent the first 6 months gently cleaning limescale from the washing machine filter as it tackled all the pipe work.As an enthusiastic car detailer, it really is a life saver in hard water areas as the scale just wipes off with a sprtiz of quick detailer as opposed to the rubbing (thus scratching) I used to have to do.Can't recommend it highly enough

Have had this over a month now and it really works, there is less lime-scale in the kettle, the dishwasher doesn't have those horrid white smears on inside anymore. The Eddy really works, its easy to assemble and works well.
