Wangan Midnight (PlayStation3 the Best) [Japan Import]

I've played the arcade version while in Tokyo on vacation. This version just doesn't quite meat up to that experience. Each race is quite short (1 to 3 min to complete), and the focus is instead placed on story. The story is of course only in Japanese and I have yet been able to find a word for word translation for non-native speekers.Now wangan midnight does do an awesome job of simulating the feeling of extreme speed. Tgis becomes of little consequence when hitting a car at 200kph only slows down the car. Also replaying a race will take you through the whole menu screen and story again.If you are fluent in Japanese and want to know more about the drivers of the cars than the cars themselves then this might be a good arcade racer for you. If not, import initial D or play a western racing game.

As far as delivery and how satisfied I am with the seller goes I am completely satisfied but the game itself was disappointing if your buying this cause you enjoy the arcade version save your money it is not the same experience

Genki brings the race series back collaborating with the race series anime Wangan Midnight.Adjustable parts, aero, suspension using the new card system allows you to take to the widely known Japanese highway to overcome various racers from the series. Too bad no english subs for all the american fans out there.

Just as the arcade game is.I spent hundreds of dollars in arcades playing this game, so I figured I would buy the game disc.Great decision to buy it.All i need now is a steering wheel and it's a match made in heaven.

works on all ps3's(region free)... super fun game. I don't know Japanese at all so it was tricky at first especially levels where you can't blow up your engine.

Good game. Graphics don't look as good as your new ps4/ps5 games but it is fun. Please add Mid_Night_-Z- on psn if you want to play against each other. The network is peer-to-peer so you can always play online if you can find someone to play against but connection will be choppy. Buy used, new prices are super high.

It arrived faster than I thought and undamaged. I recommend.

Für Fans des Mangas auf jedenfall empfehlenswert! Spielt sich eher wie, ich nenne es mal ein Manga zum selber fahren. Das Kartensystem und die Story hällt einen bei Laune. Und immer schön auf die Temperatur achten ;). Wer aber ein rennspiel zum Tunen an sich sucht. Sollte eher zu Import Tuner oder der NFS Serie greifen.

首都高バトル0、01、湾岸ミッドナイト(PS2)版、アーケードの湾岸マキシプレイ済みです。コースはC1、新環状、湾岸線、横羽線と神奈川の一部区間です。八重洲線と横浜環状(横浜みなとみらい線)は未収録です。また名古屋、大阪のコースはありません。さすが元気だけあって再現はバッチリです。またPS3の表現力でかなり遠くの建物まで描画されています。が、画質は特にテストコース(このコースだけ昼間です)だとはっきりわかりますがあまり良くはありません。暗いのはそれをごまかすためでしょうか。車種もあまり多くはないようです。アザーカーは首都高バトル0のように様々な車種が走っています。ここまでの内容なら好きなひとならそこそこ楽しめるのですが、このゲームの面白さをかなり損なわせる"エンジンブロー"要素が存在します。単純に高速走行でエンジンに負荷をかけるとゲージが上がりそのままだとエンジンブローしてゲームオーバーと言うものなのですが、このゲージの伸びがかなり早く、300km以上で走るとすぐゲージが満タンになってしまいます。ゲージを減らすにはアクセルを緩めるしかなく結果ゲージ増加→アクセルを緩めるのくり返しを余儀なくされます。せっかく300kmを超えると集中線が出てカメラがブレ始めかなりスピード感が出るにも関わらず290〜320kmでの走行が必須になります。更にCPUやクリアするべきノルマはこれを全く考慮してないのか数回のリトライはほぼ必要です。更に困ったことにこのゲージ、すべてのモードに存在します(フリーランでさえも)。首都高を走る(ドライブ的な意味で)ことが好きで「首都高ドライブゲー」として割り切れるか(HDゲーム機で湾岸線と横羽線を走れるゲームはこれだけ)、それに当てはまればそんなに高くは無いので買いだと思います。追記ゲームを進めてチューニングカードを入手していくとゲージの伸びはだいぶ穏やかになりました。

アーケード版にハマっていたのでG27を買ったついでにと購入しました。しかし、アーケード版に慣れてしまっているのでアーケード版とは全くと言っていい程違います。個人的にはかなり難しいです。
