DinosaurBar-B-Que Sensuous Slathering BBQ Sauce 19 oz

I bought this sauce along with their and some other bbq books for my hubby as a gift. I have to say I am very pleasantly surprised. This sauce has a sweet/sour taste to it with a faint hint of spicy aftertaste. More importantly, it tastes like it is fresh and homemade (you can actually see small chunks of the natural ingredients). We just had it again tonight with a prepared roast chicken from the market and I felt compelled to write a review. It was also very tasty with vegetables.One of the other reviewers mentioned it tasted better because it did not contain corn syrup and I think that is a big part of it. (Tomatoes, vinegar, and sugar are the first three ingredients). The ingredients don't contain any chemicals other than Xantham Gum that I can see and only 6 grams of sugar/25 calories per serving. The bottle says "Always Natural/Gluten Free/ No Artificial Ingredients/ No Preservatives". There are other bbq sauces out there on the market, and probably some that are less expensive and more accessible at my local market. However, I really do like this sauce and would order it online again. I think the freshness in taste makes it stand out from the rest. We have cooking demonstrations at our local market where they are always selling the newest gourmet sauce such as Veracruz, chimichurri, or raspberry chipolte. This reminds me of a sauce that they might feature. It is that good!

Okay, so here's the story. We were in the supermarket aisle looking for a decent BBQ sauce to accompany the trays of chicken destined for my charcoal grill later that evening. "What's a good sauce," she asked. The shelf displayed an array of styles and brands, everything from mainstream conglomerate brands to little outfits you never heard of. The mainstream brands - watery stuff, by the apparent textures and labels - were quickly eliminated. "Let's check the ingredients..." I said as I squinted at one hard-to-read label after another. Dinosuar. WTF. The top ingredient, unlike every single other label, is crushed tomatoes. Into the cart it went. And it was delicious! Fast forward to the week before last. I was planning some slow-cooked pork and needed some BBQ sauce. The last of the Dinosaur in the fridge had expired and the supermarket didn't have it! Tried other local stores suggested by that ever-so-popular search engine, but nope, came up dry, and finally ordered from Amazon. Two days later, deliciousness. Learned something on the way, too. The sauce debuted at Harley Rendezvous up in New York state. Dunno if you know about the annual blow-out party that is Rendezvous, but we do. If your knowledge is lackin' it's worth looking up, but I'll leave that to you. Buy this BBQ sauce, you WON'T be disappointed.

interesting sauce. has kind of a shrimp sauce taste. i had a taste test with 12 sauces and one person liked this the best.

It says (pack of 6) so needless to say when my package arrived there was only one bottle was inside. I’ll just order it from Dinosaurs restaurant.

terrific b-b-q sauce and without all of the terrible stuff other sauces seem to have. has great taste, adds to the bbq what ever you decide to use. arrived on time and as ordered. try it out, you will love it and works with anything. have been using this product for many months and recommend it to anyone that wants to get away from the usual run of the mill stuff on the shelf.

I had some other brand in the frig with 16g of sugar per serving. Dino only has 6g and still tastes good. My 6 year old likes it as well. Maybe because it cost a lot, I'm finding I don't use as much of it as the normal brand, so even less sugar per meal. Why does all the healthy choices cost more. It should be the other way around. Bought two more last week. Heard about this brand in Men's Health article on cutting back on hidden sugar.

I have been using this product for years. It is the best marinade ( for us) perfect. The price is much better if you can find it at your local market, however. I could not and I didn’t want to wait for it and miss using on my grilled meats
