Natural Crystal Deodorant for Women & Men, Thai Crystal Piedra De Alumbre - Alum Stone Deodorant (100g)

I got this and another natural deodorant for my young children because they STUNK! I talked to their pediatrician because they are WAY too young to be stinking that bad. He wasn’t worried about the stink, just said get some natural deodorant and put it on them after they shower/bathe. When we got the 2 deodorants my husband and I tried the other one on a part of our inner forearm first and I’m glad we did! IT BURNED! Like almost immediately the other one was very irritating to our skin and also left a yellow stain on it even after we wiped it off.This deodorant is a solid salt stick/stone. You wet the stick/stone and rub that on your underarms. My husband and I again tried this one on our inner forearms to make sure it wouldn’t burn, and it just felt like we were rubbing water on them. No irritation whatsoever. So that night we tried it on the kiddos. AND IT WORKED! And their skin was just fine, no complaints!I even tried it on myself a few times, just to see if it’d work on adult BO. Now I’m not a super stinky person. I don’t necessarily shave my underarms every day, more like every 2 or 3 days and they barely ever sweat, but I’m still an adult and still need to keep up with my hygiene. I usually use suave sweet pea cuz I like the scent. I tried this for myself and it works on grown ups too! No irritation even after shaving. It’s a little different though because there’s literally no scent. Like not even the “unscented” smell. Actually no scent to it. My husband did not try it one bit, but I think he’s gonna wear degree sport til the day he dies. But also I’m not sure how well it would work on him since he sweats a good deal more than I do.So if you’ve made it this far through this crazy review I’ll give pros and consPros: no irritation, no burning, even on freshly shaved skin, even on little kids sensitive skin. Completely scentless.Cons: completely scentless(some people may want a scent), must have a water source to wet the stick, may not work with thick underarm hair or on people who sweat a lot under their arms.One last thing I want to note is this is 100% potassium alum, which is a type of aluminum. I will let you do your own research and come to your own conclusions on whether or not this product is right for you based off that info, but I found for myself and my kids I’m ok with using this. I’m pretty sure my kids have a dairy allergy and that’s why their pits stink, so I don’t use this deodorant on them every day, just when I know they’re either gonna have dairy or have in the last few days.

Update - 08-30-2018I wanted to update my experience that I went for camping and had to stay without shower for 2.5 days. I didnt sweat woohoo 🙌 🎉Another thing that I want to point out is about the biology of our body. There are days that I sweat irrespective of how well I have appoed the deodorant. I think it’s something to do with the chemistry/biology or hormones of our body. But other than those irritating days, this stone works like a charm ⭐️———————-Old reviewThis is a great great stone. I am on my second one now. I bought one last year but lost it while traveling last month. This stone deodorant helps minimize sweat and controls odor - I should rather say NO sweat and body odor. I mean I wear it in the morning after shower and workout next early morning and I don’t sweat and stink. Well that’s fabulous!! No other deodorant has done that for me. It is decently priced and a simple product which is so easy to use. It’s true when they say that this stone will last you 2 years. I had to get my second one as I said I lost my first Deo stone. Love it and I am so happy I found it. I have tried those expensive brands Donna Karan, Clinique in the range in $30-40 but have been disappointed. Make sure you apply it right - by right I mean apply vigorously, go back and forth 7-8 times or more if need be and let it dry before you put on your clothes. It dries up pretty quickly 👍👍👍

Value for money, works 8-10 hrs natural deodorant

I've been trying for weeks to have success with this but unfortunately it just doesn't seem to work well for me. It seems to last about 4-6 hours so it's not completely ineffective, but in my 8-12 hour days it just doesn't make the cut, especially since it says it's all day wear. I thought maybe it's because I work in extreme Florida heat that it's excused for not lasting all day, but then one day I only worked in an air conditioned office and I still smelled by the end of my shift and all I did was a sit at a desk. So no luck.The pros:No scent at all--if you want unscented this is completely without a smellNo deodorant marks on your clothesThe cons:Doesn't last longApplication is a little tedious as you have to wet the stone so reapplying in a public setting won't work unless you can hide in a bathroom for a few minutes while you wait for your pits to dry hahahaWell, I'm glad I tried and I'll probably still use it after my showers, but it's back to my old deodorant until I find something else.

I decided to try the crystal rock deodorant after giving up on the crystal spray I had been using for several years. The spray bottles were becoming very cheap & the spray pumps seldom worked properly. So I went for the rock. The rock has worked very well for me. I get the crystal wet & apply it to my underarms. No problem with odor, this little rock works very well. Price wise.....when you figure up how long this rock will last & how many units of your current deodorant you will go through during that time frame I think you may find this to be cheaper in the long term. I also like that it is only 1 ingredient & not a bunch of stuff that makes me think "Holy crap!" when I read the label. All in all, a very good product & I would highly recommend that you give it a try.
