Perfect for Camping and Cold Weather, Super Warm and Durable
This Arcturus Military Wool Blanket is absolutely perfect for camping, outdoor adventures, and even just keeping cozy at home. I’ve been incredibly impressed with the quality, warmth, and durability of this blanket, so much so that I’ve purchased one for every member of my family. The 64" x 88" size is more than enough to keep you warm whether you're alone or sharing it with someone, and the 4.5 lb weight gives it a nice heft without feeling too bulky. One of the best things about this blanket is its ability to keep you warm even when it’s wet. Wool is a fantastic material for regulating body heat, and this blanket does exactly that. I’ve used it in a variety of outdoor conditions, and it has always kept me cozy. The 80% wool composition, along with 20% synthetic fibers, not only provides excellent warmth but also adds durability and makes it machine washable, which is a big plus. After a few washes, it gets even softer and more comfortable.I love that this blanket is loom-woven with hemmed edges and contrast stitching, giving it a rugged yet polished look that fits in whether you’re out in the wilderness or using it on the couch at home. The fact that it’s naturally fire-retardant without any added chemicals is another bonus, especially for those who want to avoid unnecessary treatments.Yes, there is a very light solvent smell when you first unpack it, but it’s honestly to be expected with wool blankets of this type. After a wash or two, the smell completely fades, and it doesn’t detract from the overall experience. In terms of value for money, this blanket is top-notch. It’s durable, washable, and designed to last for years. Whether you’re using it for camping, emergencies, or just keeping warm during winter, it’s a great investment. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable, long-lasting, and incredibly warm blanket!

Excellent Blankets!
Excellent quality. Excellent price. Excellent blanket! Nicely taped / sewn edges. No excessive odor (all natural wool has some odor just by its nature). Blanket is heavy and it keeps you warm. These also keep out wind so they work as a stadium blanket, and they're water resistant too. I mean, wow, what else can you say? And for the price? The price for this kind of quality is rare these days, so it is very welcome. I liked the first one we bought so much that I bought (6) more of them. We put a couple in the living room for TV watching in front of the fireplace, we put one in every vehicle for emergencies, and put the rest in the bedrooms for extra warmth on those cold winter nights. Do I recommend? You bet, I strongly recommend these. Buy 'em while you still can at this price.

Wonderful product!!!
Blue hole expectations out of the water!!! Cozy and warm not that itchy, Kept me warm and 30 dagree F weather. Doesn’t stain very easily and stays clean fairly well! Comes with instructions that are VARY clear!! Planning on having a good time decorating it with needle felting!!! Highly recommend this blanket worth every penny!!! Would buy more for the family if they liked wool… Or more or less the idea of wool. To be honest, I know it’s wool becaue it’s Itchy for a few minutes but Fairly soft afterwards, and I have Sensitivities to certain fabrics, including wool And this doesn’t bother me all that much.

Heavy, Warm, but Scratchy
I was a military brat. I grew up with old Army blankets on freezing cold winter nights. Trying to get away from polyester fleece that puts microplastics in the water supply, I opted for a more natural fiber. For the price, the Arcturus Military Wool Blanket is a tremendous value for the money. The wool blanket is thick and warm, resisting any nighttime chill you might experience. The one drawback, exactly like those military blankets I had as a kid, is that they are scratchy like sandpaper. I have it between a sheet and a coverlet, but you might even be smart to put it inside of a comforter cover of some kind. Other than the scratchiness, I'm super happy with these.
