Cuisinart PrepExpress French Fry Cutter, CTG-00-FFC2

Works really well for Russet Potatoes. I don't have good strength in my hands, so I wasn't sure how this would work for me. No issues! I followed the I instructions, and sliced the rounded end off the potatoes before using the pusher. I wiggled the potatoes a little when I placed them on the slicing grid so they'd hold in place. Gentle even pressure worked for pushing the top down to slice. The cut fries are picture perfect! The cleaning comb gizmo came in handy for cleaning the plastic squares on the top. I saw another review where funky food starch accumulated in the space above the plastic grid. The instructions note not to submerge the top in water. Frankly, a design flaw. They could have put weep holes in the top for draining after washing. I have a drill, and gave serious thought about putting them in to remediation this flaw. Instead, I was able to get the plastic pushing grid out of the top, with a little gentle twisting. Luckily that didn't break the nibs that hold it in place. I'm too grossed out by dirty food prep tools, so I'll keep taking my chances twisting that grid out after each use so I can thoroughly clean it. Even given what I think is a slight design flaw, feel this is a good value for the price. Cut the potatoes into perfect fries pretty easily. Good purchase.

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this potato cutter!! It cut a whole potato into fries in 2.5 seconds. I'm not ever going back to hand cutting potatoes for fresh cut fries.The package was delivered with no damages or defects. Everything was brand new and unused. The cutter was very easy to assemble and the blade is very sharp. You do have to press firmly down to get the potato through the blades, but it was still quick and easy to do. I highly recommend this product!!

Great for cutter uniformed french fries. Makes quick work of a job that can take quite awhile if you cut fries with a knife. I only gave 4 stars because you do have to have some strength to push the lid down.

This is the best! It takes seconds to make fries and seconds to clean up. Perfect everytime and you don't have to worry about pealing your potato's. I love making fries with this and popping in my air fryer for about 20 min. Quick and easy for sure!!

The cutter appears to be well made, but it can be a little difficult to use. The potato can't be too large, and it takes a fair bit of strength to shove it down through the blades. Impossible to use for sweet potato fries — sweet potatoes are much denser than white potatoes — unless you're a lot stronger than I am.

You must lift weights regularly in order to utilize this. I'm fit and in shape and I can't do it. My husband has to smash this thing down to cut the fries. Not worth it. But I don't want to be an a-hole so I'll keep it.

Got tired of pulling out the cutting board and knife to try and cut perfectly shaped fries. This French Fry Cutter is so easy to use. Just place the potato on top of the blades and push and out comes perfectly formed fries.So easy to clean because I all you’re really using are the blades and the container for the finished product. It doesn’t make a mess.The only issue is it’s a little hard to push down on it because you’re using your own weight, especially because the potato is so hard. I wish it would come with some kind of lever so that I could pull down and it would push the potato.

I purchased this item as a gift for my husband. After reading many reviews, I landed on this item because it was a good value and would be easy to clean and store in our small kitchen. We love the size of fries it makes and it's easy to prep and clean. It is very important to note that it is quite difficult to push the potato through the blade, but I knew this because of the reviews I had read. Be prepared to work for fries, no matter which product you choose. I would recommend and would also purchase again. Seems very sturdy, so may not need to replace for many years.
