The Origins of the Clans
Clear Sky annoyed me sometimes but I really liked learning how the Tribe cats eventually split up into their separate groups

A decent set-up for the finale of this prequel series
I've been reading Warriors since way-too-long, most of the target audience was probably being born when I first picked up "Into the Wild" many years ago. The series has had some ups and downs, and in my opinion the current story for "Dawn of the Clans" is a refreshing departure from the genetic legacy of Firestar that has taken place over the last 18 (main series) novels. This continuation of the prequel series has more of the flawed (but not always likable) characters and morally gray (this is at least what the author is aiming for) situations they face as the mountain cats and their allies struggle to find suitable homes in the new/old forest. This book lacks some of the harrowing action and tragedy of the earlier "Dawn of the Clans" books; fueled instead by the previous drama of said books in a tense set-up for the final installment. It's got that usual symphony of sadness, pain, romance and adventure that has made Warriors such as long-lived series, and at the price of this review, it's a much better buy online than in-store. The actual book arrived on time and in fine condition. Warriors fans will be happy with it, but it seems that the next book might have more meat on its bones in terms of interesting content.

Bravo, genial auch Band 5 von Dawn of the Clans.
