how does 6277 fit? low, mid or high profile?

Its a mid profile. Even says so in the description. I don't have a big head but I am picky about my hats and this one is my go to. Perfect fit for me.

What size should i get if i'm a 7.75?

I wear a 7.75 also and this hat in L/XL was unbearably tight. I had to return it. I've never had a problem with L/XL Flexfit hats before; they're all I wear. I was very disappointed.

Does it have a high or low crown?

Are these similar to dri fit material?

No, not really. It's a poly type fabric but much thicker and much tighter weave. Not super breathable if that's what you are looking for
