I have a son who 'hates' math but he 'hates' anything that he cannot relate to real life. For example, he used to hate reading, too, but then he discovered nonfiction and he will read anything nonfiction or anything that tells him how to build something or that is about national parks, etc. But anyways, back to this book. It is awesome! He sees how it ties math into the real world and we use it in our homeschool as a break every now and then from our regular math curriculum. Excellent purchase!

Kids can share the book, since it's easy to do the math work on separate paper. It would be a fun addition to a teacher's personal library.
