| Directions | Feeding Primal Freeze-Dried Formula is easy. Simply serve as is, or rehydrate by adding water. My dog is obsessed!
My dog is an extremely picky eater who normally seems fairly unmoved by dry food. That is, until I started adding these nuggets, now she gets very excited for her daily meals. The texture is easy to break up and the bag is a perfect size to keep her stocked through the whole month. I'm also very happy about the quality of the nuggets, as well as the healthy ingredients. I also appreciate the options when it comes to eatability - I've only actually hydrated one of them initially, one whole nugget is the perfect size to crumble on top of her bowl as is.

Great quality food and no allergens!
My little furkid is very sensitive - has IBS, sensitive to poultry (which seems to be in most dog foods in some way), and is picky! This food has really worked well - she loves it, it agrees with her, the poops are normal, and her weight stays constant. I do mix with a little brown rice and a smidge of coconut cream (because she likes it and it gives a little extra oil - plus helps to naturally repel fleas and ticks). I mix with a little of the Primal Rabbit to give her a change up.

Good dog food
A bit pricey but I have yet to find a dog food with 50% protein (turkey and sardine variety). For those who complain about how hard it is to break apart the pellets, this flavor (turkey and sardine) is usually the easiest. We have tried the other varieties.

the best dog food on the market
a wonderful, healthy food for my fussy Havanese. I use all the flavors primal has except chicken and know my dogs are getting the best quality. I sometimes top it with freshly seared beef,

Expensive
My dogs love this food!! They are very picky so it’s good to see…only reason this food got 4 stars is the price! Way too expensive for my budget so dry dog food is added with it. My dog has allergy’s and has less breakouts eating this so I keep buying regardless of the price till I find something cheaper that helps her allergies.

Great anytime
My dogs love it. Note: each nugget is very hard, needs to be soaked in water. Again, dogs love it.

SEEMS LIKE A GOOD FOOD SOURCE BUT HOW WILL I AFFORD IT?
PRO's and CON's have left me indecisive. PROS: 1) My Dogs LOVE it! 2) No issues with digestion 3) Clean ingredients, very health alternative to current "organic" dog food. CONS: 1) These squares are hard like bricks and you must break them down in bite size pieces with your hands, which is quite difficult especially with arthritis 2) There isn't any direction provided on how many bricks are a serving based on animals weight or age 3) No Serving Sizes offered on the internet or packaging. I don't know if I am meeting my dog's needs. I have large Yorkie and a Small Chihuahua and I am "winging it", since there is no guidance 4) No mention of the total number of "bricks" in a package. Will this last two weeks? A month? I am clueless. 5) Cost seems very high for the quantity given, a friend encouraged me to give this a try and I don't know if my budget will allow me to buy the quantity needed. At this point, I have had them on this diet for 8 days and still feeding wet dog food (which is on the high end as well) because I have no idea if I can buy more. I think the cost is pretty ridiculously prohibitive, now that I actually have received the package. I suspect that I can use a freshly prepared delivery service for comparable price, who knows maybe it will be even less expensive? I honestly don't know. If I need a new bag in under 4 weeks, I'm going to look into other options. The cost for my food is hard enough to cover anymore. I do believe feeding healthier leads to longer life and lower medical bills, so this is going to be a hard decision.

Good quality - Tough bricks we have to break up small and hydrate well for our old guy since he has minimal teeth...but he enjoys it and no foodallergies!

I have two wonderful Lakeland Terriers. Lily Astrid 11 years old (named after Warren Buffett's second wife) and Oliver Buffett 3 years old. Lily is extremely picky, OlieBee much less so. Lily accepts to eat Primal Nuggets without complaining. I am glad that Primal Nuggets is her brand.
