I needed this monitor because my husband is recovering from hip replacement surgery and has to sleep in another bedroom that is 100 feet away from where I sleep at night. Plus our home is built of reinforced concrete, so I needed a monitor that would not lose the link. This one has great range and great sound quality. Plus I can carry it with me when I am outside and still hear him. I love that it has 2 way talking as well because he is able to call out to me when he needs something, and I can find out what he needs without going to his room, which saves me from walking to his room to find out that what he wants is at the other end of the house. I would highly recommend this monitor.

Used this during the first weeks when my wife was recovering from hip replacement surgery. This let her talk to me from the bed room without yelling, and it let me monitor her to make sure she’s OK. It’s a great device. Works exceptionally well. And it doesn’t look like a “baby” thing.

Have used video monitors since my kids were young. Currently have my six, eight, eight year olds, sharing a double room in our recent video. Monitor went out. At their age, really just need audio to pick this up. Good quality, does not make a lot of ambient noise, so it doesn’t bother my wife and my sleeping. but if they yell out for something during the night, which likely doesn’t happen often, can hear them with fairly good clarity. Can also speak back to them on those evenings, they refuse to go to bed. It stays plugged in by our bed, so cannot comment on battery life. If audio is all you need, this is a good product, and would recommend.

We used this with my mother-in-law during her illness. Her room was in a separate apartment from us and we were able to hear her clearly when she called out. Highly recommend.
