Sturdy, contoured fit, great mount for trying out a red dot on your pistol.
Fit perfectly on my Glock 19. It contours to the slide for a clean look. I used this to mount a Vortex Venom. Some reviews say the rear sight mount is loose. This was not the case for me. The mount was extremely tight. I did not use a sight pusher, but was barely able to get it installed with a brass punch. It does not slide right in like the videos on youtube. It is very sturdy and a tight fit. I used red lock tight on the mount, and blue lock tight on the screws. For the venom, you will need to use the included screws with the mount, not the ones Vortex provides. The Vortex ones will be too short. No movement after 100 rounds. Great product to try out a red dot on your pistol. It causes no damage and you can choose to keep using it, or invest in a milled slide.

Perfect marriage between my Glock 17 and a Vortex Venom
Great base at a great price. The black finish seem durable and matches the G17 slide. I used a rear sight tool for installation and the dovetail plate went in smoothly and firmly. The top adapter cradled the rounded edges of the top of the slide so the base cannot shift over time. The screws went in smoothly and I used blue Locktite to secure them. This fit my Vortex Venom Red Dot perfectly. Just starting to use this and will update later. I would recommend this base, and you can't beat the price.

plate mount is good just need longer screws
I mounted on my Glock 30 . I've only shot it twice since I mounted it . the second time after about 40 or 50 rds the sight came off the gun. The two little screws that screw into the piece that goes in your sight slot., aren't big enough to take the recoil of the slide when it cycles. I put Loctite blue on the screws when I install them. so now I don't have sights on my pistol. I don't know where to get any replacement screws. The product is good they just need better screws with a little threads.

Good, Especially for Folks Without Sight Pusher Tools
This mount replaces the pistol's rear sight and can be good for those who want to experiment with inexpensive red dots before buying higher-end sights and milled slides, though the sight will sit noticeably higher without slide milling. The mount does not have rear sights built in, so there's no quick backup if the optic fails, and no possibility for co-witnessing, but the Dueck Defense model that does include sights costs almost 10 times as much! Also, some more expensive optics such as the Sig Romeo may include rear sight slots in their cases. This mount seems to be well-made, and feels solid. It's particularly attractive for those who don't have sight pushers, as my dovetail insert piece fit loosely enough into a Gen 4 Glock 19 to be easily installed by hand. The mounting base is slightly curved on the sides, conforming to a stock Glock slide to both capture the insert and to be self-centering. The base mounting screws tighten up the assembly. But, it may not work on a custom/aftermarket slide that does not match the cross-section profile of a stock one.A range trip illustrated two possible issues. One is that no thread locker is supplied on/for the screws. If installed without this, the mount will probably shake loose before the first magazine is emptied. Also, the mounting screws are Phillips-head. It's hard to imagine loosening these without completely stripping out the heads after thread locker is applied, unless the slide is heated. I'd like to see hex or Torx head screws here. The mount appears to have a somewhat "standard" pattern used by Burris, Docter, Vortex, and other sights. In summary, a good mount that is exceptionally easy to install with no special tools. Just remember the blue thread locker...

Well made but check to be 100% that it fits your model pistol
It seems to be well designed however it did not work for my Taurus GX4. It may be good for yours but save time and make sure your exact model is listed.

DOESNT WORK ON TAURUS G3C
Works great. Took me a little while to figure out how it works but finally put it together to work on my Taurus G3C.

Works great for A glock 17. Use blue thread locker.
Super easy mount to install. It is 2 pieces. One slides into the dovetail. And the base screws into that dove tail section. Make sure to use thread locker blue. Or your screws will come lose. I used this on my Glock 17 with a vortex venom 3 moa red dot. Once I had the screws set, I fired over 500 rounds and the mount is still fine. I'm pretty sure this will fit most small frame gen 3 glocks. I ordered another one after I tested this one. And will post pics once I mount this on my Glock 26. I'm not sure which other rmr this will fit, but it will fit a vortex venom. Depending on which optic you have, you might have to buy different screws from a hardware store.
