Finally a proper release for The Delta Force!
Fast review: Imagine is outstanding.I am VERY picky when it comes to video quality. The very first thing that struck me looking at this disc was how this film (which I've seen many, many times) no longer "looks" like shockley, low-budgeter, 80s unprofessional (is that the right word?) cheese, but now it straight up looks like a more professional, higher-budget film. If you have seen the movie thousands of times you should pick up what I mean. The Delta Force is not a great movie, but it is still well made, but has always looked--visually--(to me anyway), flat, underwhelming, and entirely convincing. I'm talking image-wise. Not any longer. After being stuck between two different HD masters, each with set of positives and negatives The Delta Force is finally given a 4K of the camera negative with HDR / Dolby Vision. The MGM bluray (and Arrow bluray) have a very outdated HD master (used for the dvd). And the Scorpion release was a 2020 2K scan of an interpositive. Under most circumstances, a new scan would mean a much better release, but unfortunately the scorpion had some awful crushing in spots. The MGM wasn't hit with dnr, but has that outdated digital-grain appearance. The Scorpion has a modern natural-looking grain . . . but lacking in detail compared to the MGM (think of a modern scan of a photocopy vs old scan of the negative). The situation was a mess. Which one to watch? But that problem is in the past. The compression on this 4K disc is great. No encode issues I could find and I have a better appreciation of The Delta Force seeing it as a more professional, more respectable-looking 80s action movie.I hope Code of Silence gets this same treatment. While directed by a different man, that movie similarly "looks" flat and underwhelming on the MGM bluray (kino bluray has the same outdated master). Thanks for sticking through my ramblings. I hope this helped someone, somewhere!God bless.

A good fun action film
A good fun action film...yet dark!2nd best Chuck Norris movie I seen since Invasion USA and sadly the last movie of Lee Marvin. It doesn't take long for the action and the one liners to start. However I was surprise how close they based the real hijacking TWA Flight 847 on June.14.1985. The only they added was badass Delta Force to the story which I liked a lot.

Great image and sound quality! But no extras!
I loved this release for its crispness and good sound quality! Everything looks and sounds as it should. But the lack of any extras, except for the trailer on the bluray is a little bit disappointing! Anyway, this is the best audio and video presentation of this film ever.
