Gifts on hand
I try to keep birthday gifts on hand for birthday parties so I can just throw them in a gift bag and not have to worry about shopping That being said, I purchased this "koosh woosh" to keep on hand for $9. Look for a lightening deal.My five year old tested it out as best as he could in the package...but I think it will be a hit.

It flies!
Works as a frisbee should. Less concerned about damage when it might hit someone or something.

Sturdy buy heavy
I bought this to teach my 6 year old granddaughter how to play frisbee. It's a bit heavy for a beginner and would probably use it for a dog to fetch instead.

Waste of money
I never write reviews but this item looked like the picture after a few minutes of catching by my GSD. My dog usually keeps a frisbee for weeks or sometimes months, before it needs replaced. I heard this one crack the first time she caught it. At the end of our play session I threw it away because I was afraid she would swallow some of the sharp pieces. I wouldn't give it as a gift for the same reasons. The price was cheap but the quality was cheaper.

Lots of negatives and no benefit over a regular frisbee
Not sure what the point is of this thing as it does a lot of things worse than a normal frisbee without any benefits. It doesn't fly as far or straight as a regular frisbee, is harder to catch, and is harder to grip. It's basically a hard plastic disc with a thin rubber lip. The rubber lip softens impact a bit but you're still catching a sharp lip that is more likely to hurt than just a normal plastic frisbee. The whole disc bends easily due to the thin plastic and central rubber which just means it will get warped quickly.-Doesn't hover in the air as nicely as a normal frisbee so it doesn't work well for dogs or humans.-Difficult to throw flat and level. Due to the lack of a lip, it's harder to grip on a backhand and you can't even throw a real flick. I played Ultimate for years so know how to throw. If you want to play frisbee, just get a Discraft 175.

Like Aerobee in feel and aero action...
The media could not be loaded. Frisbees have lots of competition these days, and if you're more a fan of the heavier, more dense Aerobee type of flying disk, you will like this Koosh Woosh. The edge is thinner than a Frisbee, the side material is softer (along with a soft interior circle), but just in from the edge there's a hard plastic section which gives the heft and stiffness that Aerobees get from their stiff edge. Flies like an Aerobee. Nice.

Hard plastic with hard rubber edge
Thought this would be softer but is actually very hard plastic with a hard rubber edge. Flys well until it deforms after being left out in the sun.
