Best Landing craft on the market.
The 54mm Higgins craft by BMC is amazing. Just like the ones from D-Day, It comes in a great size compared to cheaper ones that are very small. (Atleast the ones I'v seen.) I have 4 of them, and I may get more.Descriptive Pros:One of the first few things I'll say about it, is its compatible with a large amount of different toy soldier brands, making it great for a variety of armies. The second cool thing about them is how they can perfectly fit Tim Mee's M48 Patton tank or Scout car. Making them useful for deploying vehicles in your invasions onto land. They just don't roll out very well, and there isn't any space to put extra soldiers, but it's still awesome. Some people complain at how the Sherman from BMC doesn't fit in the boats, which is understandable. So I highly recommend using the Tim Mee products instead.Durability: The plastic is pretty good, and can withstand some abuse. I remember my first BMC Landing Craft was left outside for a whole two month in the sun and dirt two years ago, besides the color being diluted to a lighter gray, it's still durable and I still use it to this day.Detail: The detail is OK, you can see life rafts, and other small bits of detail on the craft, I don't really care about it all that much.Price: For around 10 dollars, I have to say its worth it, and with Prime, it makes thing perfect. And now the Cons:I don't really have much to say, I have not encountered any issues with any of my Landing Craft. In short:Great Landing Craft, a must have for play or display.Pros:A great replica of the Higgins craft, just like from D-DayGreat for different army soldier brandsCan be used to transport Tim Mee Vehichles such as Tanks and Scout carsGood plastic durabilityDetails alrightCheap price for a good quality product.Cons:So far, no cons.

higgens boat is awsome, fun, and perfect for progects and toys alike.
the Higgens boat is a very fun and educational toyOPENINGthe higgens boat is wrapped in plastic and may have the "front door" (i dont know its real name)disassembled. this is an easy fix, just snap it into place and go. these hinges concern me, though they are thick they are brought to my attention that other hinges on other toys may snap.ACESERIES AND FUNthis boat comes alone and has many educational features. if your child is old enough, they will know how the machine gun fire realy shreded up the boats. but if they are small, the craft are simply fun.this toy the suggested sherman others bought is too big. Buy the classic toy solders 54mm tank. these are loads of fun with pillboxes and the belgan gates in the d-day (small 40 dollar one) creates joy in my childrens heart.REALISMthe boat its self is not very realistic, considering its a 12 dollar toy.It finds a nice ballance between realism and fun. its fun and preety realistic, so dont turn it down for a d-day history progect.i bought three, and it makes a perfect beach landing re-creation.all together this is a fabulas toy.

Pretty good
So, my initial thoughts when I got this where it was bigger than I expected, had pretty good detail, and was able to fit at least 24 or more army men of different sizes and shapes. I could fit at least 2 or 3 artillery in, and 1 tank with extra room. The ramp worked well and was easy to put on, and when I put the stickers on, looked nice on the boat. I'd recommend this if you were going to make a stop motion or diorama, but be aware that because at the time I'm writing this, it's Thanksgiving break, and when I ordered this I had to wait 3 days. So, If you're getting this during any holiday and you're planning to make a battle or do something on a specific day it said it would be ordered, then be aware that it might not come in on the day you want it to. Like I said because I ordered this on Thanksgiving break, it came in after 3 days instead of 2. It's kind of overpriced for a Higgins boat, but they are hard to find. It is pretty durable, hasn't broken yet, and before I got it and read some of the reviews about people complaining about how it has broke, most of them mentioned 6 or 7 years olds. So I'm guessing that you should be more careful with it. So in my perspective, it would be pretty worth it.

Its not 1:32...Looks more like 1:38
Very detailed, nicely done...If your buying Sherman tanks, make sure you purchase the 1:38 scale made by BMC. The 1:32 will NOT fit in the Higgins boat.
