The Book of Revelation Through Hebrew Eyes (Lost in Translation, Vol. 2)

As an individual who is in no doubt that the entire Brit Chadashah was written in the native Hebrew language, i look forward to reading this book. Once one has an understanding of the Hebrew language, the culture 2000 years ago, and that Yeshua was a Jew as were His talmidim, the replacement theology of the Roman Greco system can never hide the Truth or Identity of Mashiach ben Yosef.The Brit Chadashah is not revelatory but is the record of Y'shua's ministry on Earth. Yeshua made it clear that he came for the lost sheep of the tribes of Israel and that He was / is an obedient Son whom Loved His Father and showed us this by obeying His Fathers commandments / Torah.The book I found an interesting read but feel the time line is wrong i.e. p156 talks about deception, war, disruption of the world economy & currencies, these are all things that have been occurring for the past couple of years & will get worse as we progress through what i believe is the last 7 years. Seal 3 talks about the cost of food. The world is in the midst of a global famine which I believe is the second year of the prophersy'd famine that will get worse. The war with between descendants of Esau (Arabs) and Israel will occur very soon (later half of 2011 most probably), p180 talks about man rejecting YHWH, man does this openly, has done for years and even writes books about it (scoffers), p188 talks about the sign of the covenant being a cross, this should be portrayed as an X (Paleo) and not a cross as defined by christian terminology. p189 re the 144000, these are individuals that have not been corrupted by women in other words the churches or man made theology. p217 end of day hallmarks, these are all present today and have been for some time, i.e. gay marriages, slut walks etc etc (most major cities are No different to Sodom & Amora), deception by the elites etc etc. p214 extreme weather, the world in the midst of these extreme weather patterns & has been for the past two years or more & they are getting worse,just look at the US and the world and one can see this clearly. p223 YHWH's people, YHWH's people are those that adhere to and keep the Torah of Moses excluding the Oral Law which is nothing but man made halacha, and YHWH makes it clear that His people He will look after in the last days. p266 Yeshua did not and never learnt at the feet of Gamali'el as Sha'ul did, to suggest this would suggest that Yeshua leavened the Word / Torah of His Father with the word of man is wrong and not Scriptural - Never! It is obvious that even at a young age Y'shua taught in His Fathers Temple & those that heard were surprised at His understanding / wisdom. P268 to suggest that an oral torah came forth from YHWH to Moshe is utter rubbish and to me is indicative of a polluted mind. (p273) and to suggest that Yeshua quoted from the Mishnah is wrong when it wasn't even written when Y'shua walked the earth. Yeshua came to place the Torah on a sound foundation and teach it to the people that were being oppressed by Rabbinic halacha or Ma'asim HaTorah (works of the (oral) law), to break the yoke that the Rabbi's had placed around YHWH's people as YHWH's yoke is light in comparison to the hurdles and the fence placed around Torah by the Rabbi's and Pharisee's. p276 Man should not prophesy unless he has been called to by YHWH otherwise one may be dealt with like the false prophet. P304 righteous goyim, the US or most western nations cannot be seen as righteous because they have promoted the ways of Satan hence the US decline both morally, economically and spiritually for at least the past 50 year.My thoughts are we do not need a master menorah but what we do need is the Torah of Moshe, Yeshua HaMoshiach and the Ruach Hakodesh which will teach and show us what we need to know in these last days. So in other words, prayer to Aveenu Malkaynu, keep His Mitzvot as written without adding too or diminishing from, hold His Torah high (always) as if you were surrounding the walls of Jericho as His Word which is Truth, Wisdom, Light which will give you Life and Righteousness. We are in the last days and the Torah parables explain to us exactly what we need to do and what will happen in the last years including the famine the world is in the midst of. Peace and blessings

I actually have all three of the books in this series. I bought them, read them, passed them on and could not abide not having a set in my library. I have reread them. They not only make sense out of the Book of Revelation, but it becomes such a totally amazing picture of what is really being said- in ancient Hebrew, through Hebrew eyes, with understanding of Hebrew idioms. Fantastic series! Cannot rate them as high as they should be, because they far exceed a mere 5 stars.

I ordered all three volumes. I am not a novice with this subject matter, having studied in this area for about 30 years now. I've read almost half of Vol. One and am LEARNING from these authors. Some things I never knew, others I have believed but had no reason other than "my grandmother told me this" or "the Lord showed me." These men document everything and back it up with the Scriptures. I highly recommend this series to all serious students of our Christian faith who are wanting understanding of our beginnings in this faith. I will likely be reading it all three books again when I get through with the first read..I don't want to forget or miss anything. It is confirmation to what I have believed for a long time.

Being a Catholic my church is painfully quiet on Revelation so I must read and carefully study a multitude of books from Lindsey to La Hay and everybody in between...I have listened to a whole slew of televangelists from Hague to Jeffry...The more I read and listen to these yo-yo's the more I am convinced that there will be many false prophets in the latter days that will lead many astray. After reading and re-reading this book I am beginning to understand Revelation much more clearly. This book makes more sense than all the other books I have read...I recommend this book if you are on your journey to find the truth...this book may not be all the truth but you will definitely get a better understanding of the subject..after all..if you want to know how the Hebrews wrote and thought you do not ask a Greek !

John Klein presents the book of Revelation as structured on the marriage contract called the ketuba. This looks at the Bible and Revelation as fulfilling the plan of God by following a menorah pattern. Revelation then repeats the menorah contract in visual and symbolic language as well as direct revelation. Interesting. I had not thought of it that way but am studying it further. (For a really detailed description of the Ketuba, see the Babylonian Talmid. That has an entire book on it.)

This is absolutely, hands-down, the BEST study book available on the lost and misinterpreted truths of the Bible. I cannot put this book down! And, the nicest thing about this book is that the references are clear and to the point. You can read it side-by-side with your bible and SEE where the scholars of the main-line church have inserted poorly translated ideals from a Western-Gentile-Mindset. These ideals (doctrines) have shoved believers so far away from the TRUTH that we no longer can see the spark from the flame! These authors have brought together fact, truth, and historical evidence that is mind-boggling and in your spirit you can SEE and UNDERSTAND what the scriptures were meant to get across in the first place. I also ordered the other two books in the series and await them with the same enthusiasm. I have been a believer for over 25 years and now can further my understanding of Scripture!BRAVO!!!

The writers of this book are, according to their own story, Messianic Rabbis; the contents of this book make that an incredible assertion. Their understanding of several elements of Judaism are obviously lacking, such as the fact that Jewish days are counted from evening to evening, not morning to morning. This work is full of pontification, without any supporting material and, perhaps more concerning yet, when their pontifications are supported they are supported by the Mishna. This work of fiction is used to support several 'traditions' of Judaism, which were not even thought up until centuries after Christ. Neither Christ nor his followers (nor detractors for that matter) had even heard of the Mishna; the material which went into producing it were what he, himself, called, "the traditions of men" which he adjured his hearers NOT to follow. There is not the slightest possibility that Jesus would have adhered to its teachings had it then existed.This book, will lead many astray, who do not actually know their Bible, Jewish history and tradition and the nature of the God behind the Bible. Those who, like the authors, come at the Bible from a position of emotion with agendas to posit will be fired up to believe what is here writen. The arrogance of their assertions, on pages 304-307 are beyond credit and, in the years since (if one had been following American history) have proven that arrogance goes before fall; if not that pride goes before destruction.I would not recommend this book to young or immature believers; actually, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The series is excellant and makes all the sense in the world once one has read the bible through cover to cover more than once. Then and only then will the pieces be put together in a logical and organized way as such as been developed in this series. It is wonderful how their insight has been able to portray such a complicated book such as revelation into something realistic and as tangible as they have provided here. Good job. Eventually, I will get around to reading this book. Only because I am looking forward to the intellectual contents. The quality of the typeface is very poor. Imagine a greyscale version of a coloured, dot-matrix printout; now photocopy and send off to a self-publisher. That's what arrived in my mailbox today. I'm sure the publisher only reproduces what they receive, but seriously, this book could have benefited from a $99 laser printer.
