My grandson's school changed their mascot's animal since 10 of the 15 schools nearby all had the same mascot - how's that for repetition? The new mascot is a falcon, so for a back to school gift I bought him this furry guy to sit with him while working on his computer doing distance learning at his desk. He loved it! The teacher and fellow students on Zoom loved it also! Great school spirit! The falcon is a nice size - hand/lap/desk size and soft enough not to bother his inner elbow while working and yet it has feet to stand up somewhat and lean against the computer monitor and we tell him the falcon is watching him complete his assignments and waiting patiently until done so they can have some free time fun. It's a nice addition to his assortment of critters that help his imagination. Thanks for a quality product.

My husband and I recently visited Malta. Our 4 year old son asked us to bring him a Maltese falcon as a souvenir. I was shocked to find only 1 hideous short ceramic Maltese falcon (meant to be a replica of the movie prop) after 16 days of looking. I even visited the falconry in Malta and was again astonished that there was no souvenir for my animal loving, creature savvy, historian son! Thanks to good ole' amazon, I was able to order this before we left Malta (I could still say I bought it while in Malta) and find it had been delivered by our arrival home. We added a Maltese cross and bam- best souvenir ever! This is an incredible replica of a real life Maltese (peregrine) Falcon. The detail is fabulously accurate. It is also young kiddo and snuggle friendly. My son has not put it down in 3 days!Whoever works in sales for this Peregrine falcon should contact the Falconry in Malta (there's only one) and get this product into the gift shops! Seriously. Name it Manny the Maltese Falcon. Or even Sam Spade or Humphrey (after Mr Bogart... star of the movie), or Charles after Charles I of Spain (tribute of the Maltese Falcon). Anyway, it's an untapped market for sure!

Very soft and also a big wingspan.

Needs some fluffing and adjustment after coming out of the plastic wrap but he's plenty cute after. I live near many Peregrine and the likeness isn't quite right but there aren't a whole lot of options.Also, I hate how plush always come in pretty tightly wrapped plastic from Amazon. If you are giving them to a kid or grandkid you need to air them out for several days first.

Bought this for my 6yr old son and he loves it. Seems well constructed, now if we can keep our big Husky from eating it all will be well.
