I bought this mainly to help with pet odors in my carpet and it actually works pretty well. The lavender scent is noticeable but not overpowering, which I appreciate because some carpet powders can be way too strong. I sprinkle it on the carpet, let it sit for a bit, and then vacuum it up. It definitely helps freshen the room and makes the carpet smell cleaner. I also like that it’s supposed to be non-toxic and safe for homes with pets. The bag is a good size so it should last a while depending on how often you use it. Overall, it’s a simple product that does what it’s supposed to do. If you’re looking for something to help keep carpets smelling fresh, this is worth trying.

I ended up buying total of three bags to treat the entire carpet in my new apartment, which carried an awful strong odor when I first stepped in. Yes I am aware this is a well overpriced baking soda with lemon essential oil, but hey it worked wonder and I was too tired to make the fancy blend myself while having a mountain of boxes to be attended. The lemon fragrance was powerful but thats the whole point of deodorizing, and it smells natural and pleasant. Despite claiming pet friendly, I don’t think any citrus essential oil is safe for cats (not sure about dogs), so I kept my cat in a separate room when I treat one area. I left it on the carpet for 1hr and longer, afterwards vacuumed up and also used carpet washer, and it helped so much neutralizing the odor. Minus 0.5 star because zippers on all three bags came largely detached and not resealable, though I was able to used up a whole bag each time. Will consider repurchasing when I want to deep clean carpet!

It does seem like it would be effective at deodorizing, however the scent is incredibly strong. I want to emphasize that I am not someone who is sensitive to fragrances at all, but this was overpowering even for me. The smell lingered heavily and was almost too much to handle indoors. Another inconvenience is that it doesn’t come with a scoop. It makes it harder to distribute evenly without making a mess, and for the price I think a small scoop should definitely be included. Overall, it may work well for odor elimination, but the intensity of the scent and lack of a scoop make it less practical and less enjoyable to use.

Was worried about using a powder on some of my broadloom that are dark colours, but it worked out well. I have 3 cats and anyone with pets knows no matter how much you clean there's always a little bit of odour when they're laying all over the rugs. It's to hard for me to steam clean them more than once a year so this product worked out well. The rugs and the rooms lightly smell of lemon, and it does smell clean. Lots left over to do it many times every couple of weeks. Good product. Definitely buy again.
